interface electronics are incredibly simple - and the core processing unit etc, the brains - you can buy them very cheap pre-assembled - EG - arduino, midibox.
Midi Hardware - it seems daunting looking from the outside - but if you look into it, it's mostly just about programming still.
Yep, I'm hoping to have distributables this week. From there, I'm a bit unsure how to proceed. Options are to really finish out the Flash one (with drag/drop editor, etc), do one contained entirely in a Max/MSP/Jitter runtime, or go all C++. Hmmm...

$100 to you maybe. But the end user.....please expain how the touch screen, camera and laser was less than $100?! i cant believe it was that cheap.

$50 for used 22" monitor, $30 PS3eye cam, $20 for 2 x 780nm IR lasers.
