I will be going to Slovenia from Hungary as well coz I am visiting a friend of mine before! Can you tell me how exactly did u travel - car or bus? How can I check for busses to the National park?
We left at around 4 am in the morning and got back at 10 pm, so it was a very long and tiring day. I recommend you leave your bags at the hut not far from the summit. You don't want to make the hardest part of your journey even harder by carrying unneeded items. You will go back that way anyway... Watch your knees on the way down, you can really hurt them. Otherwise have fun!
which month was that? Im thinking of clibming in the end of June

We climbed the mountain in early June. There should be a bit less snow when you are going, but bring some ice picks and ropes just in case...
