The tab on here for guitar hero is more correct. for example in the main riff, the pulloff on RB goes to a green, when the real note is an octave higher than the palm muted green notes that follow, whereas in GH it pulls off to a higher note. just saying.

I love RB, but they just don't know how to chart correctly.

@HNOTails Umm, that's not even close to true. Because of how both are set up, BOTH require the original recording. If this weren't the case, then in GH, when you stop playing the guitar track, then you wouldn't be able to hear the song without the guitar in it. It would be impossible to do this without the original recording, otherwise the only two option for missing notes would be either have the song continue to play, guitar and all, or have the entire song muted. What you said makes no sense.
@Brockbfball1563 there are actually many programs out there that the average person can get that would stop just the guitar track when you stopped playing or any other part of the music track that they chose.

And "more accurate not patterns" is almost entirely subjective, and GH1 has a way stricter hitting window, but does that make GH1 better?

For this particular song, I prefer GH's chart mostly because the HOPOs in RB's chart were all automatically placed and made some places, like the strumming in the main riff and the strumming at 5:26 in the solo, really awkward. In the past I usually preferred RB's charting of things, but recently I've been the other way. It's great that everyone has an opinion, but when people flat out lie to get people to believe them, like HNOTails did, isn't cool.
@Brockbfball1563 i like GH's 'noodling' feel with all the hammer ons that Rb misses mainly from it's choice of songs on the disk but you can download some like 'caprici di diablo - yngwie J Malmsteen' or 'satch boogie - Joe Stariani' I'm not advertising but they are some great songs.

guitar hero chart is better, but they both have their flaws. especially the rock band one. some sequences are really great though, especially on the guitar hero one, which gives a better feel when it's played. the rock band one is undercharted at times, and the guitar hero one is overcharted sometimes. so neither is perfect, but the gh chart is better. \m/
I tried really hard to overlook the fact that Rock Band had flat notes (more accustomed to round ones O_O') but I still feel that, Rock band makes this song booring and too easy to play since they made the note chart use the orange button a lot less than on the GH version.
I actually tried moving my fingers as if I was playing this song and looked on the RB side, but I didn't get the same intense feeling as when I played the GH version.
Sorry RB fans, but my vote goes for Guitar Hero: WoR

For future arguments "Guitar Hero copied Rock Band songs" through out the years they always copied each other. The only difference is which one made the song charted nicely. Guitar Hero has crazier stuff in their charts but the timing gap is much larger than Rock Band. Really I see no difference besides personal preference. I actually find many Rock Band song harder than Guitar Hero because you have to be more precise and I like that more. FCing crazy sections in Guitar Hero just doesn't feel as satisfying because it is too easy to hit but that is my opinion.

@HNOTails I don't give a fuck about that. I still prefer Guitar Hero because it's collaboration and sync is perfect. Unlike Rock Band, you lose way too many notes because their sync is off and collaboration is a brick. In this song's intro, RB had random hammer-ons which will make you lose notes as hitting hammer ons decrease your chance of hitting that note. It's not how they get the track, it's how the preformance of the game is.

Guitar hero was too unrealistic and had fake recording from albums. Where in rockband they had live performances and used a monephero to chart them into the game.

guitar hero chart is better, but they both have their flaws. especially the rock band one. some sequences are really great though, especially on the guitar hero one, which gives a better feel when it's played. the rock band one is undercharted at times, and the guitar hero one is overcharted sometimes. so neither is perfect, but the gh chart is better. \m/

I tried really hard to overlook the fact that Rock Band had flat notes (more accustomed to round ones O_O') but I still feel that, Rock band makes this song booring and too easy to play since they made the note chart use the orange button a lot less than on the GH version.
I actually tried moving my fingers as if I was playing this song and looked on the RB side, but I didn't get the same intense feeling as when I played the GH version.
Sorry RB fans, but my vote goes for Guitar Hero: WoR

For future arguments "Guitar Hero copied Rock Band songs" through out the years they always copied each other. The only difference is which one made the song charted nicely. "Rock Band is more accurate than Guitar Hero" how? They seem to have it down well no matter which notes are different. Over charted, under charted, there almost is no difference most of the time. For me on this chart I would say Guitar Hero did well on it and Rock Band didn't do bad either.

Guitar Hero has crazier stuff in their charts but the timing gap is much larger than Rock Band. Really I see no difference besides personal preference. I actually find many Rock Band song harder than Guitar Hero because you have to be more precise and I like that more. FCing crazy sections in Guitar Hero just doesn't feel as satisfying because it is too easy to hit but that is my opinion.
