  • Pacaembu stadium Brazil

    I was there

    Great man

    Great pastor

    Forever in our hearts

  • Great man

    Great pastor

    Great legacy

  • Um pastor maravilhoso que me ajudou muito nos anos 70/80, qdo eu era adolescente e tinha um pai alcóolatra violento. Eu não perdia um só programa do Rex Humbard, que era traduzido aqui no Brasil. Sou eternamente grata a ele!

  • Some preachers didn't like Rex Humbard because he broadcast real church

over television. Pastors complained because "people could stay home instead

of going out to church". But truth was Bro. Humbard FILLED the CHURCHES

because he reached people by TV who would never have gone near a church

before. There was nobody like Rex Humbard and there will never be another.

We loved the great stories he told in his warm, "down home" country accent.

Made us all feel like he was "Home Folks". RIP Rex!

  • A great man of God. I wouldn't say R.I.P. because he's already with The Prince of peace.

  • I talked with his son Donny, by phone, over the last few years. Two days after he died, I called his church office and he answered. Donny told me he appreciated all the prayers, for his Dad and family. RIP Rex.

  • Spent alot of Sunday's watching Rex ( after church) . Where was Liz in this video. Liz if you read this ... Hi. Mom and Dad brought home a picture of you in the late 70s. Had a crush ever since. Lol. Hope all is well .

  • @DaLenzia Hello..I just read your comment about the COT. I visited in 1972, albeit I watched the show every Sunday for years. What happened after Rex left the church? Did his brother in law take over? Whate ever happened to Liz and her brothers..I miss Rex and the music..His preachiong was sincere and right to the point, and never a scandal on him or the church..He is truly missed.

  • Excellent video! My mother was Rex Humbard's personal secretary for over 35 years (Margaret Seskes). My father, Rev. John Seskes was his associate. My grandmother - Margaret Bee lived with humbards and took care of their dogs and house while they went around the world for our Lord. --- I never saw a moment when Rex wasn't doing something for the Lord. He was a wonderful man of God. He will be greatly missed. ---

  • "One cannot succeed in conceiving how much cruelty, ignominy and falsehood the intrusion of Christianity has spelt for this world of ours." - Adolf Hitler

  • I Enjoyed Rex Humbard Show their motto was "You Are Loved" grandchildren sing good, I miss them. sadly missed.

  • I voice Kaitlyn's sentiments also.I miss Evangelist Humbard and i grew up watching them at 9AM every Sunday morning. He is my role model as a minister and i enjoyed his preaching and i loved to hear him pray.He was a true-to-the-Bible,down to earth,God-loving,people-caring,and Spirit-filled preacher and i respect and love him,Billy Graham, and Robert Schuller for blazing the trail for Christian television and world evangelism.

  • He is missed; grew up watching them on tv. God bless Rex!
