American foundations have payed over $90 million to promote their own Amarican industries. Millions of that money went to so-called grassroots protests in western Canada. Why didn't these foundations put any money to enviromental action in the Gulf of Mexico, on the eastren seaboard or the Alaskan coast? Perhaps they may have been better off watching thier own envronment

Dogwood and bateman they drive and fly all over tar roads, bateman lives on a island were they send a ferry back and forth burning tar and poluting the water even if there are no cars or passangers on the ferry, it will make the crossing no matter what the cost to enviroment.. the co2 is crazy from batmans ferry. The ferries that these people are taking aren't filled with 2 million barrels of oil for one thing. For another, if there was a leak or spill, either along the way from Alberta or in the Douglas Channel, our waters and our fishing would be wiped out!!!!

Once again the Dogwood Initiative uses clever wording and turns of phrase to twist opinion against ANY oil industry. Why use the term TAR and not OIL sands? Is one subliminaly dirtier than the other? Why use pictures of steam in the winter to emphasize your assertion that oilsands facilities are pumping out CO2? Why try to make it look like any proposed pipeline will travel through virgin untouched territory? Most of it will use "loops" or twinning of existing right of ways.
