When she says "move it up" she means that after the string crosses from one hand to the other, there is now only two strings on one hand, i.e. a string around the ring finger and around the middle finger. The string around the middle finger needs to be transferred to the index finger, and the string around the ring finger to the middle finger. Example at 1.14
