Wow thats straight pipe? holy this video must suck ass or you have good sound proofing in it. My dad used to own an 89 pete 377 with a 444. This sound exactly like it,and it had mufflers. man i miss that truck, my dad sold it to a farmer to haul bails, a spark came out the stack and the truck went up :'( this brings back memories...
@JustJeepin666 lmao so your have no other superior LMAO you need to quit playing those trucking games kid because thats not how the real trucking world goes...tell ya what go to thetruckersreport and talk shit there. you always have a boss kiddo who the fuck do you think signs for the load?
@JustJeepin666 pickups and semis are completly different, does your truck have a jake? i doubt so you must see that loud pipes are unfeasable to some they may sound cool but is a bossman really going to want to hire a guy running around town with straight pipes and rattling off the jakes at every light?, the grunts at the dock may think its cool but the person who sings the checks doesnt
@JustJeepin666 yeah try that. ever heard of a sound test or a muffler check? you dumb backwoods rednecks dont know shit about trucking. goddamn billy bigrigger
cummins always sounds better than cats they make more power with less displacement than cat better on fuel too and FUCK MUFFLERS ill Jake it through a housing development at 3 in the morning ...... rise and shine motherfuckersssss
@CrackinVTEC666 yeah and you billy bigriggers wonder why we are getting more and more no Jake zones. and enjoy the 300 dollar ticket for jaking in a city RISE AND SHINE MOTHERFUCKER idiots like you need to get the fuck out of trucking
Yeah true that. when dads old KW T800 had a crack on the inlet they wanted $800 for the factory replacement muffler, we just used flexpipe to replace that... Much cheaper.
Love all the tards that say "Cat is best, duuurrr". Seriously, you only like cat because of the name and that they make equipment you see all the time. Give me a Cummins any day.
i like cats cause we have them in our flatbed haulers and they run like champs not talking bad about cummins i like cummins alot i think i like both equel but id take a cat cause thats just the way i am but ill be perfictly happy with A n14
Cats are good motors. They have lots of torque. A cummins is good, they sound real nice with straight pipes. A detroit (4 stroke) 60 series is really good and will last you forever. Plus they have loud ass jake brakes on them even with a muffler. Cats arnt that loud, cummins and detroits are the loudest ones on the road.
Cummins, or Detroit diesel is the way to go in my opinion. Either one is nice, I love the Cummins ISX and the Detroit DD15 but I'd have to say Cummins cause they've been around longer and have a reputation for making good engines. Don't get me wrong Detroit is still awesome imo :D
I bet ur cummins couldnt eat my dads c15 cat in his 379!! its been tweaked a lil! shit i aint dissin cummins i mean hell i got one in my dodge but cat is good tho!!
Love it!

Us farmers know, when the mufflers rust out, just put straight pipes. Its just cheaper.

Hotrodx199 2 years ago
@HilBil91 same with tractors. We had a Deere 4020 that the muffler rotted out. Chrome pipe straight up with a rain cap! Easy as that, and cheap!
