Although I started in 2004 (RS 2) this vid somehow makes me sad. Runescape Classic is open for members, but I wish more people played RSC. I don't use to play RSC because so few people play it, and it's not so very fun to play with so few people (like around 20 ppl).
But this video was very touching, with touching music. I wish I started in the classic days. Runescape sucks now compared to the old days with old graphics, and when this game was much more than only being the richest.

I fucking miss runescape classic, the real shit. Private servers are okay but nothing will ever compare to the old days on RSC, even if they bring it back, it will never be how it was.

@striker994 Tell me about it. I didn't know about RS at the time because I was pretty young and didn't have a good computer though I've played a private server for RSC & it is a lot better. They made the game simplistic with shortcuts in skills & adding the GE which making your own things pretty much useless since you can get it so easily.
More people should know about rscangel(dot)org, it is a rsc fan community and the player-updated/managed game is almost identical to RSC. They are rebuilding it to be the same (they did it from scratch I think, using some basic Jagex codes), but they added some variations and somehow it revitalizes the game, which still feels like RSC. All they need is some more players (and some donations too I think)... I strongly suggest that you all come and see what the potential of this RSC2 game.
The colors, the community, the hardcoreness, the fake pictures, the silly combat system, the joyfulfilled graphics, simple, humble, thanks mate you made an awesome video, immortalizing and refreshing my memories, about a legendary game.
Think about it, runescape is great, but it is that way because of RSC, and rsc had the better community, it was much more fun! Now RS is getting popular, and they try to resemble WoW and stuff... aw :(.
For all of the people that come after rsc... they don't understand the beauty of the game. It was just amazing. Rs2 isn't anything compared to it. The natural feeling of fun was so great. Please bring classic back...

I miss rs classic cos now im 14 i have too much schoolwork to play properly and rs2 just doesn't have the same spark as classic. I remember wen I was 8 back in 2001 and I didn't have a care in the world and just played and played. I still play it quite a bit but the fact that it only has two servers and their both members only and 99% of all my friends have left classic its getting harder and harder. Anriel2, I was 7 when I first played classic. Too bad I didn't have the patience to carry on properly. But i do remember the fun of getting my first set of armour and chatitng to my friends outside of school.
it makes me so mad i started playing right when this game came out and played until runscape 2 come out it makes me so mad but the best thing was just starting out not nowing that much about the game and getting full iron and just going crazy over it becuz i thought it was so cool then about after 1 year of playing i got my account raised and finally got rune and a santa hat...that santa turned in 2,5 then a mask set then a purple party hat and then a party hat set then i quit after rs2 came out

Wow I wish I played RSC. I enjoyed RS2, until Jagex removed PKing and trading. I did get on RSCD (an RSC private server) before Jagex's lawyers shut it down! They won't even let their players bring the game back... thats just sad.
I don't know if a lot of you relies this but Jagex is a company which obviously makes games for profit, they have no means on bringing back RSC as it makes their game look bad, and wouldn't profit them (only waste their time). People who try to bring the game back are getting nowhere sad to say, but it was a well made video.

The sad thing was that I created an account on RSC the day before it was closed to the public, and I lost my Internet for a couple of months. I only got to have 5 minutes with it.

I just don't know why, but I keep getting remembered when I used to go up like 6 in the morning back then to just play this game with my cousin.
I loved that fucking game! and I still do!
The exploration was epic at that time.
I even fucking loved the ads above and beneath the playscreen.
I stopped playing RS like three years ago, but still, those RSC memories is coming back.
At that time at my life, i didn't have to worry about, love, girls, and school.

man....im all for bringing back RSC but if they never pass it then i think we at leasts need to start a new petition for bringing back the wildy.

well yeah, they still have the wilderness.
but the big thing to most players about the wilderness is that you could kill other players (Player Killing,PKing) im sure you already know that. but that is what they took out of Runescape

RuneScape Classic is now RuinedScape... so is RS2. But RuneScape 1 will always be the only game I will call RuneScape.

A the good old days when i play rsc lol it wasnt called rsc its was RUNESCAPE the best games ever! i remeber the broght out the sleeping bag lol it was stupid to have that done! But here is somthing that rsc still has pking!!! but no one their to pk with lol and also the fact that rs2 dosnt have pking their any more the lost more ppl! I miss rs classic cos now im 14 i have too much schoolwork to play properly and rs2 just doesn't have the same spark as classic. I remember wen I was 8 back in 2001 and I didn't have a care in the world and just played and played. I still play it quite a bit but the fact that it only has two servers and their both members only and 99% of all my friends have left classic its getting harder and harder. Why does it have to turn out like this? Please bring it back to free!

ive never played rsc, but they need to brng it back, they treat it like its complete shit, when it looks better then rsc, even thought its harder, it looks more enjoyable+ thjeres pking..and everbody seems nicer no noob calling or anything

Anriel2, I was 7 when I first played classic. Too bad I didn't have the patience to carry on properly. But i do remember the fun of getting my first set of armour and chatitng to my friends outside of school.

it makes me so mad i started playing right when this game came out and played until runscape 2 come out it makes me so mad but the best thing was just starting out not nowing that much about the game and getting full iron and just going crazy over it becuz i thought it was so cool then about after 1 year of playing i got my account raised and finally got rune and a santa hat...that santa turned in 2,5 then a mask set then a purple party hat and then a party hat set then i quit after rs2 came out

Wow I wish I played RSC. I enjoyed RS2, until Jagex removed PKing and trading. I did get on RSCD (an RSC private server) before Jagex's lawyers shut it down! They won't even let their players bring the game back... thats just sad.

I don't know if a lot of you relies this but Jagex is a company which obviously makes games for profit, they have no means on bringing back RSC as it makes their game look bad, and wouldn't profit them (only waste their time). People who try to bring the game back are getting nowhere sad to say, but it was a well made video.

Best game I have ever played. It is the saddest and mots irritating thing ever that I can't play it again. I made amazing friends. I would do anything to camp out at Dark Wizzies in level 4 wilderness again with all my friends, killing everyone that came. :(

Jimmyfrominwood... u asshole it isnt the same people on rs2, its all a bunch of ignorant 5 year olds that just beg, size means absolutely nothing, and graphics by far has NOTHING to do with it, ur just another idiot that hasnt played classic that just DOESNT understand what it was like in the good ol days. Runescape these days is just TRASH compared to classic, thats why i quit when rs2 came out. The friends and memories will always be there, just not the game we all played and loved. COME BACK!

man i dont care if they made a members version and a free version with only the f2p areas and gear... i would play with rune 2 hands again.. those days where you could see a lvl 35 hitting 20s... ahhh! now that was runescape.. the game play was better the combat system was better... PKing was amazing it was the best time i ever had playing RS man it was almost as good at CS 1.5.. but bring back RSC. You dont understand how many people liked... LOVED! this beautiful game.. and still do..

The sad thing was that I created an account on RSC the day before it was closed to the public, and I lost my Internet for a couple of months. I only got to have 5 minutes with it.

I never enjoyed a game as much as RSC. Fuck all the haters, graphics doesnt mean shit all. I really hope it comes back some day. I play rs2 (not that i have much choice, I would rather play classic) my account name is Mt Mason. And as far as im concerned the runescape people know today will always be "RS2" to me. RS2 is just a remake gone way wrong compared to RSC. Fuck all u RS2 noobs you will never know the true runescape.
