I watched this show on ABC maybe once or twice when it was on primetime. But I really got into it when Mtv picked it up from ABC and started showing it in the spring of 1995. It was on a couple of times a day on Mtv and I could'nt stop watching it.
Does anyone remember that? Mtv showing MSCL so soon after it was cancelled in January 1995. If I remember right Mtv started playing the episodes of MSCL in March or April of 1995.

Although I hated how Bess Armstrong cut off her shoulder length hair during the second (I think) episode, I wish they had shown her with her hair like that in the intro. Since that was what she looked like for most of this series, it would have made more sense to show her looking like that.
I used to watch this with my daughter who was exactly like the main character. We ended up coloring her hair red as well and she's been "red" ever since!
my older sisters and i ♥ it; i bought the whole series on DVD for one of my sisters for christmas several years ago; obviously one of the best gifts she'd ever gotten LOL :D
Does anybody else love the "go now, GO" that's whispered in the beginning? It's possibly my favorite part of theme song, along with Angela running out in the very beginning. :)
Little piece of trivia: When My So-Called Life originally aired, it had the same Thursday night time slot on ABC that Batman and Bewitched once held more than two decades prior.
Claire Danes first acting. I thought she looked about average, it wasn't until her other movies I see she is very beautiful (think Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio movie)
Totally the worlds best intro. It's one of the few DVDs that I not only don't mind leaving on the menu screen, but occasionally don't want to start the show! :)
OMG !! Seeing this bring back so much memories. I remember me trying to read the names of the characters during the opening, I was around 6 and was learning how to read in... French. I was wondering why those words were so weird ... LOL my first attempt to read in english!!

Crazy??? wow.. my heart was beating like hell after watching these clips after so long!! It meant to me so much in those days.. can't stop all the thought popping up into my mind.... if time or age wouldn't kill that easy these sort of feelings that just let you know you're alive.....
@littlefurballs I haven't seen Undeclared but I know what you mean! Everytime I find a good show, it's like siyonara. It's like people don't want shows with any substance to continue even those are the shows that face the true reality of things.
