I'm having an issue getting any sound. I'm just looking to get sound from my laptop. The track is showing as if it is playing, but no luck. I went to SETTING>AUDIO SETTINGS>AUDIO DEVICES (Only giving the ASIO4allv, which i selected and the conexant....I then went to OUTPUT ROUTING> and i'm not getting any 0 options just 1 HD Audio Digital out 1 and 2 HD Audio Digital 2......any help would be great

for instance, if you are watching youtube videos, you can`t use that sound card in traktor at the same time. if you are listening to music in itunes, you can`t use that sound card in traktor.

@ThunderPiglit The 8-card has more inputs and outputs, basically. If you only need to output a master signal to the speakers and a monitoring signal to your headphones than a 2-card will be just enough and a good purchase.

Hey Ean ... I see you're using Scratch pro .. in the Traktor pro I don\t see any Midi setup in the preferences and on the headboard I don't see any Midi sign lighting or shut down.. I see CTRL and it's turned off ... I bought the Vestax three days ago and I'm not mananging to use it .. it's connected properly but no reaction from Traktor !

You can't connect ur headphones and speakers to it. Also the soundcards gives the music a more crisp sound.

hi , go my vci today , but traktor le wont install on my laptop. i put in the disc and nohing happens so i went 2 computer and went into the disc and all thats ther are 4 filed of wats in the disc , can any1 help me install it please ? i got my vci from tech tools and i live in ireland u think its not working because its an american disc ?

Although this video is very good, it shows the Edirol/Cakewalk/Roland UA25-EX as an option. I bought this sound card and it seems it cannot be used for this purpose as there is no split monitoring. Yes, however you will have to map it yourself. The ones on the NI site are "Traktor Ready", which means that Traktor has built in midi mappings for those controllers.
