I got a 75 gallon marine tank with sump in October and we bought lots of clean up crew we bought 40+ crabs. For some reason we only have about 10 left. Is something killing them ? We removed a large black tip crab that was killing a few. This is a problem because we have a bad cyano problem. Any advice? All water tests were fine.
we have a fresh water aquarium for 1 year and just started a saltwater aquarium last night we have one live rock and live sand and we also added 2 damsels last night and there doing fine they are swimming around and they are doing good so fare

my question, i have these 2 clown fishes who seems like to stay at the bottom level of the tank.. they look very healthy and swims fast and looks very happy.. but it seems like they stay at the bottom level and they only go up very rarely.. they even eat at the lower level of the tank compared to what they do in the pet store.. what do you think is the reason why? note: they build their own homw in the place that they usually were swimming.
Mate..you are a beginner's dream! All the questions I had and more you brought up yourself answered... I'm a total beginner to freshwater and dreaming about a nanoreef right now....watching your lectures is building my confidence to getting one started in the next couple of months.
I live near the intercoastel way here in Tampa bay area of Florida, I do a lot of Kayaking. Will netting some fish from the waters and adding them to my tank risk interducing some freaky diesese to my current fish in my tank.?
i just brought a 130litre tank 28gallon and i set up the water and stuff and i'm ready to put some fish in it. I would really like a lion fish, dwarf of fulll size! is this recommended, i've never kept marine fish before only tropical!!!
well a dwarf could work.... but it would be quite crowded. A full size lion fish would not work at all the fish would barely even fit in the tank. I would have bought at least a 40 gallon for a dwarf
it will most likely die cus u have no experience keeping that stuff yet. study at for some good time and try to adjust your water to the way they like it. it will most likely not last more then a month or two because you have a small tank. that was the problem with mine. i have a 37 gallon and i have problems keeping bigger fish
whats pacteries? arree those like paracites or something, cus my tangs seem to slowly desolve over 2 years or so. like they start loosing there fins and gills and weird shit like that. i think its called the head and lateral disease.
can you send me the writing in the little boxes at the bottom... the website name was blocking what the boxes said, and i wanna know what they said about clown fish!!!!!!

Not cool. Coral reefs are being decimated by fish collecting for aquariums!
