  • can you turn all the sprinklers on at once? and if so how do you do it? thanks

  • This blog helped me last time and I hope it helps again. My system is programmed to come on twice a week. I had to bypass the rain sensor too get it to work but now it just recycles over and over until I turn the rain sensor on or the system off. We are under restrictions and are not supposed to be watering past 10 a.m. and when I get home from work at 4, it is still cycling. HELP!

  • Ok, another question. One of the sprinkler heads, that I've noticed, over sprays totally missing where the water is needed. How can that be solved....dah! LOL I'm sure it's something simple.

  • I have a sprinkler system like the one above, all a sudden one station is running on its own no matter if the system is off or running, even when i select another station to run, that station still running together with the station selection, I am not sure what could be the problem, or how to fix it, any idea?? please write me back

  • I had this problem, too - the diaphragm in the zone valve which was always on needed to be "reset". I opened 2 valves to see if I could detect a difference between a functional valve and the one which ran continuously and discovered the diaphragm problem. I gently pushed it down, reassembled the valve and everything worked normally after that. It got forced into an "open" position when I turned the water on too quickly and as a result, the solenoid was not able to control this valve properly.

  • Thanks for this! Sprinklers.iFind2.com took care of my sprinkler system. I only paid $1399 for the front and back yard. They also sell the Home Depot $39 Install Your sprinklers yourself picture book at Sprinklers.iFind2.com

  • does not include how to discontinue or deactive interval watering..

  • Also check voltage on zone posts will each is on with volt meter 24v is needed or with a solenoid . The clock also has a reset button if you had a power surge.

  • Gary You can buy the faceplate only but I would take it to your distributor if your clock is less then 3 years old may still be warrentied.

  • My system too does not turn when i try to run it, it may have had a power surge or lightening strike, are there any tests to check whether the solenoid is bad or short in wiring, would i need to change the controller or is it possible to buy parts, any advise on this ?

  • Don't forget to make sure that the manual turn on valves on your backflow are in the open position. Some times when they are winterized people close them and forget to open.

  • You prob. Have a short or bad connection on your common wire check it at the clock first to see if it is connected properly. Then if you have a master valve. You would see it the wires connected to the controller under the master/pump terminal. Check those wires. Then check the voltage to te wires they should have 24v out. If you do then most likely your master valve solenoid is bad.

  • Detare1 you prob. Have more then one start time programmer on your controller. Go threw your start time and programs to see if you only have one start time set

  • How do I remove all waterings for manual times. My system is set to run on odd days as desired, but then it continues to water over again. I am still doing something wrong to remove all manual times.

  • My system will not turn on when I try to run it. my research appears to diagnose the problem as either a bad solenoid or short in wiring. Any advise on how to repair this?

  • First time home owner and I am very computer savy gal. I can fix it all but put me in front of this box and I panic. LOL!!! I am scared that I will break it. Good demo...the company that installed the irrigation did a poor job and shorten the hose and wanted to charge me $100 to come out to just look at it. The 1 year warrenty was over. Glad to have a neighbor that works in landscaping and showed me the problem for free and it only costed me 50 cents. That's right and I could not be happier.

  • Great Demo...Lost owner's manual and door instructions have washed off.

  • Check the rain sensor might be engaged. Bypass the sensor to check. But don't forget to enable it again or it will always be disabled.

  • What if the sprinkler icon flashes, but it doesn't start the sprinkling cycle?

  • very good demo
