Ya I have looked at the DM signature Strat. Nice guitar but I am not into signature guitars. If I were to buy ANY of the signature Strat's it would be Adrian Smith's Jackson Strat. That guitar is gorgeous! I also am quite fond of the new Charvel San Dimas and So Cal's. They are all Fender products just with different names on the headstock. All part of the Fender family now.

@Sufferd666 Lifeboat is his one solo album that a lot of this series of lessons is based out of, a song on there called Scapegoat Blues. Phenomenal album very jazz fusiony. He was with Aquarium REscue unit for years. You can find a lot of ARU with Jimmy Herring concerts for free on etree.org live music archive. Project Z and Jazz Is Dead also apparently features him although I'm embarrassed to say Lifeboat is all I own. It's enough though for a guitar player to study for years.
