You can find Red Ammo in Crimson Guard crates. Shoot the crates. I love as soon as Sig says that, "Shoot The Crates." pops up in the bottom left corner :3.

i did this mission recently and i crashed my car right when i made it there. but i was already past my checkpoint so i didnt have to redo it, then when daxter said "in premo condition" it made laugh cause it was all exploded.

It was my 20th birthday yesterday, I got a PSP and Daxter.

Its kinda cool. Same wonderful humor. Though it suggests Daxter spent 2 years hanging around bars and pubs Embelishing stories of him kickin' ass.
