The thing is,Im like you,I dont really do much to keep my hair "healthy". Im trying to learn more because I have twin girls that have really "hard to manage" hair. I am caucasion and my girls are mixed with african american.Mine and there hair is very fragile and breaks alot so I think Im gonna try using the coconut oil.One thing I can tell you is that I use QUIDAD climate control for our hair and it works the best at defining the curls more and keeping the hair looking less frizzy.

@g4ready i've been doing it often now...and i skip the saran wrap now and just throw a cheap shower cap over it. I LOVE COCONUT OIL. lol..i've noticed it softens my hair immediately.

It looks 3ish at ends and length and the roots look 4ish. Long hair care forum (the best one ever!) you will def find a hair twin and even more tips. But I love the thickness!
hi my hair kinda looks like yours except its relaxed; have you ever tried conditioner washing? i usually do that if im not gonna straighten my hair, then i add two silver dollar amounts of leave-in comb it through, add a bit of oil, and i make sure NOT to towel dry my hair i just squeeze the water out, then i tie it down with a scarf, i usually wear a bun when i do this though u dont have to, but my hair usually dries less big i only do this at night to give my hair time to air dry
i've conditioner washed my hair before...but never squeeze dried it..im pretty tempted to try your method... im just a little worried my hair will look thirsty once it dries :) ... I'll let you know how it went...thanks!
I figured the heat could be a reason, however i don't straighten it too often..maybe once a month or every two months, maybe less. But I don't recall too many curls when i was little...more like a lot of frizz with zig zag waves. I'll be posting more videos which show the true nature of my hair once its completely dry. But please if you do find someone with my hair, direct me to them...maybe they can help ;)
Hi. Just wanted to say I like your hair. Very thick and nice. You definitely have a unique type. Can't say I've ever seen it before. If you don't mind answering, when you were a little girl, did you have noticeable curls? If so, the reason why your hair might not be curling is because of heat straightening.
Are you mixed with anything? Btw I subbed..:)

Fun video to watch. My hair is JUST like yours except THICKER. Mine also falls the same way and gets bigger as it dries.

i think you could just straighten your with a flat iron if you have a hot flat iron and some straightening serum..chi products are the best
