when i go to load it back on the 360 as i click "Yes" on load it starts loading then says the disc is unreadable LOL dunno why cause the disc isnt even spinnig in my 360 cause i installed to my hard drive but would it maybe be because i like modding my smithing to like 999999 then smithed all daedric shit then they were like all 214764763 damage and defense then added 1m gold then added all master spell tomes..? :3 ill try again without the 214764763 damage and defense

you can marry all of them. ( vex , sapphire , grelka , haelga ) i just tried this today, did it on a new save and its coming up disc unreadable, did they patch it? It has worked fine before the patch, but then again i was using an older save i had.

also, will this change the save to the pc save, or can i simply take an xbox save, make it a pc save, change what i want, then make it an xbox save? i have the cracked skyrim for pc, but its on my laptop, so npcs are braindead but i can use console command. couldnt i use console command to go to the dev room, then go to xbox, take what i want, go back to pc and get out of dev room?

FOR THOSE WHO GET THE "Invalid package" error LISTEN UP CUZ YOU"LL BE THANKING ME.

Once you've gotten through 2:13 of the video then:

1. Select open from device. then select your gtag, then your save game.

2. Go to "File Contents" and right click and select replace (putting everything onto the desktop was just inefficient to begin with...)

3. then just select your NEW Savegame.dat that you created on the desktop.

4. Follow the rest of darkgroobs instruction.

@hunterdaniel1 It's in the first video for this. All you do is plug in a USB, go into the memory management in your system settings, configure the USB stick for the xbox, and copy the profile to it.

So say I was just wanting to transfer my pc save to xbox, I take the xbox save onto my pc, open it up in modio. I have the pc file saved as Savegame.dat prepared. Replace the savegame.dat of the xbox version with it, rehash and then stick it in my xbox, it should work right? Because it isn't for me >_<

@BloodMagicGaming You need to make sure that both the PC and the Xbox have the same version of Skyrim, you can use a save made on an old version of skyrim: say 1.0 and play it on a newer version: say 1.3 but not vice-versa. also when you save that particular save-file it is converted to the same version as the system it is saved on.

when I try to open the "save.exs" file on modio it says it has an invalid package. The file also doesnt have the correct "picture" next to the file name. Mine has a blank sheet picture while yours has some other picture. What did I do wrong?

Hey man i really appreciate the time and effort into this but no matter how many times i follow your steps correctly, it loads incorrectly, I went over the top with cons. commands do you know if thats the limitation? Can i ONLY mod gold? I ask because i keep getting a unreadable disc error msg, works just fine without modded saves. Id really appreciate it if you got back to me on this thanks again for your time.

@64Blounts I am having the same issue; except that I am getting it regardless of modding the save or not, as long as i load it and save it through the pc version it will not work on the 360. the only thing i can tell is the savegame.dat file is larger then the .exs file and maybe that is causing it. does anyone know what to do?

@meehanp1 yea i noticed that too, i thought if i deleted my patches on my xbox it would work, just tryed it, no luck. It tells me its a older version of skyrim. So thats not a solution.

Worked great! Gave myself lots of perk points, extra hp, stam, mag, etc and imported to 360. Only issue was had to download update for skyrim on 360, but this rocks! Thanks!

@XajcXcasX i believe you need to keep the original save on the desktop,the one you extract from modio. And then your going to want to COPY that desktop save into your save games, then once you have moded till your hearts content, save game. Take the new save copy to desktop, rename both appropriately as stated in video (saves ON desktop) should work from there. Hope this helped

When I tried to play it on my 360, it said that the save was played on a later version of Skyrim, and to download any updates. The problem is that my internet sucks too much to be able to connect to it on my 360, so I can't download any updates. Do you know a workaround to this?

So say if I didn't own skyrim on my computer or even knew someone who did, could I get someone to send me a file of a save and follow all of these steps or no? Like could I get a file of someone having infinite gold from an outside source like demonoid or something, and then still post that save onto my xbox or will it have to be a save from my xbox for it to overlap correctly?

@hprodge Yeah, you could get any savegame in .ess format and then add it into your XBOX. You just have to make sure that you rename it to Savegame.dat, then bring over a save from your XBOX and rename it to "save.exs" (or whatever) and then use Modio to replace the File Contents of that .exs file with your new Savegame.dat. Then you would rehash and resign it with your gamer profile and save to device, as shown in the vid.

@stmMidnight I believe it MUST be "Savegame.dat"... but I think you might be able to call the .exs file whatever you want (like asdf.exs) but I'm not sure if there are any limits on that.
