  • are Peripheral and molex conectors the same?

  • @TizHancock peripheral usually refers to more than just molex, but yes they usually refer to the same thing.

  • MSI ATI Radeon R4890-T2D1G-OC

    1GB 3996MHz DDR5, 880MHz Core,

AMD Phenom II QuadCore 920, 2.8GHz

    Socket AM2, 45nm, 8MB cache,

how powerful power supply do i need

  • a 650watt corsair would be more than enough. Hx750 wouldb eawsome

  • soory for my bad english

what PSu should i buy ? what power >?

    GPU : xfx gtx 275

    CPU: intel core i72.66 ghz

    MB : Asus P6T Deluxe

Ram: not shure what model but will bee DDR3

  • id suggest you getting something like 700W + with 4 + 4 12V connector

  • take a breath dam guy doesnt stop for a second.

  • He should have covered the noise level and the efficiency unless I missed that, otherwise very cool. Right now it's $200 but the prices obviously change over time.

  • cable clutter should not be a problem with this power supply. If your buying this power supply you should have a gaming case with cable holes which eliminate cable clutter. You don't put gaming hardware in a SHIT CASE.

  • @traingp7 Well.. that explains why all of the IBUYPOWER cases look funny.. O.O

  • whats the price?what a waste of time!

  • how many years is 200.000 Hours?

  • Plenty. All other power supplies are rated at 100,000 hours at 25 degrees C. This one is rated at 200,000 hours at 40 degrees C. Its fucking sick.

  • No, not all are rated at 25C. Some go to 50C @ even longer MTFBs. PC P&C sucks.

  • its i believe 22 years so your warranty will be long gone but who cares 22 years!!!!!!!!!!

  • still can't do triple GTX260/280 tho.

  • Thats why you upgrade your PSU.

  • good psu but needs better chord management. If it didnt have so many cluttered wires i would be using it now.

  • I have the 750W version, Silencer Series. Yes it only has 1 fan. But guess what? I put my hand on it during stress tests and it's not warm at all. I'm powering a 4870 btw. Mine has a 40-degree guarantee. Who needs more fans when it's always 40 degrees or cooler?

  • this PSU is a mess...

  • I agree. It would be a whole lot better if it was modular and if it used the new easy-grip Molex connectors - this PSU uses the old ones which are much harder to insert/remove. On the website, they say they don't use modular because of the voltage drop associated with it, but the huge mess of wires will be more of a problem in high end systems - looking untidy and causing heat build-up. If voltage drop is such a big problem, why don't they just add a bit more voltage to the rails?

  • It's actually one of the most reliable and few power supplies that give out the exact wattage. it just needs to be sleeved nicely is all.

  • can you run 2 4870x2 crossfire?

  • Yes you can, I have this power supply and I run dual 4870X2 video cards.

  • I have 500 w but I can run two ATI 4850. I don't know why I need 860 w? I think it is to much for me.

  • definitely needs a modular design... Love the ESA though... I still will prefer a modular design... I have the Ultra X3 and definitely love the lifetime warranty and the modular. Not ESA but I would still take the Ultra.

  • Turbo cool? it has one fuckin 80mm fan. Tiger direct has a horrible selection of powersupplies. Don't beleive me? Go there. No Antec , no thermaltake , no corsair , no silverstone.

  • he sounds like someone talking in speedracer

  • I'm actually liking Albert alot now..he is a great replacement from Logan. Albert does a great job..pro!

  • hey albert do u got your own youtube channel?

  • Didnt OCZ buy PCP&C? Oh wells, I just hope that the quality doesnt go down, OCZ's been.......lacking..lately.

  • ditto.

  • only negative is cable management.. needs a modular design

  • ty tiger direct u had helped me find all the parts i want 4 my next comp thx

  • It doesn't really matter these days because most of the cases have the power supplies on the bottom, so you can just tuck the cables in there.

  • we both right

  • Small error, he said 850 watt in the beginning of the video lol.

  • where can i get a 4 pin motherboard connector extension ???

  • ebay

  • "aaww yea look at that" lol

  • I have a 750 watt PCP&C and its amazing no problems what so ever I love it

  • BTW mine was tested by Nice lol

  • only 1 12v rail? fail :(

  • you don't want more than 1 12v rail because if you do then the 12v rail's are cut in power

    1 12v rail= one powerful rail

more than 1 12v rail= less power per rail which can undercut performance

  • yo my hommie

  • yah but one gaint ass one

  • this is video # 1111, yay

  • boulshit

  • where is the pci connectors when you want to put one graphic card or two which is want power?

  • wish this was modular

  • PC Power and Cooling are really anal, they know that at any connection point there is a chance of a voltage drop, so they don't make any modular PSU's

  • me too

  • awesome psu i only wish it was modular that would make it even better 200,000 hours is just amazing.........

  • 200 thousand hours? thats fuking 22 years dude

  • good review.

  • never heard of the brand

  • "buckamoona

    never heard of the brand"

Are u forreal ?? This is a high end gaming brand ... they make high quality power supply

    I guess u not a gamer

  • There's not really such a thing as a gaming brand for PSUs.

    More like very high-end performance.

  • High end gaming means high end gaming pc ...

like with quad cores , 4870x2 or sli ..

  • I know that. But that's not just gaming.

    That's very high-end performance.

  • rofl, they have one for dells, meh, one for industrial systems.. meh XD

    albert rox

  • will a 500watt power supply be enough for amd dual core 6000,2x8800gts 512mb,1hdd 320gb and dvd-rw?

  • with 1 8800gts yes...but not with two

  • this powersupply can take 2 8800 Ultras in SLI without a problem

  • nope

  • keep it up albert

  • i mean 200,000 is really kewl but who honestly would use a power supply for that long. that's like 20 years if u leave ur computer on 24/7

  • and youll probably have to upgrade anyway for newer connectors or more demanding hardware

  • 200000 hrs is 22 yrs

  • not modular :(

  • modular isn't as great as it sounds

  • I doubt you'd be able to run 2/3 280's or 4870X2's on that power supply. Could it really keep up with all the other components crammed into a system?

  • your gettin better Albert.

  • I love Albert

His funny and his just cool~

  • Sweet power supply, but one thing. I dont mind albert, but wtf happened to logan? REALLY?

  • he left tiger

  • Logan moved

  • yeah turbo cool

  • Huh your saying you can run two 4870x2 in crossfire with this power supply.

  • mabye. i know GDDR5 uses MUCh less power

  • he said 9800 gx2,the 4870x2 is "too" angry for that power suplly.lol

  • i want a huge power supply. i have a nice system, i wannna show off.

  • MTBF = mean time between failures. It isn't guaranteed to last 200000 hours. On average these units last 200000 hours based on a statistical analysis. Usually it excludes DOA and infant mortality, but it seems well tested which is obviously good.

  • wtf is this?

    a 860 non modular psu?

    where is this world goign?

  • i like how they made the ps small

but now adays you need 1000-wat and up to run the gaming systems...if you try and put that in a system with 2 graphics cards you will blue screen

  • did albert have a time limit to make this video within.. coz damn he talks fast

  • DAMN thats a good PSU!!

  • How very hairy...

  • someone should give him some kind of award for talking faster than anyone else on the planet

  • LOL i was thinking that

  • 3Dgameman talks faster... lol

  • ok this looks all good and all...bit,200.000 hours?that is more than 8000 days if I'm right. And you are propably going to need to get a new power supply by then. But it's a great product.

  • thats enough lol

  • It's an average, the bigger the number the less *chance* the one you buy will fail. It still might fail, it's a statistically derived number.

  • Modular is better.

  • looks like a kickass psu :P

  • nice :D

  • I like OCZ

  • god thats tiny
