  • Start of this song is just Paranoid by Black Sabbath...

  • this band was sooooooooooooo underated, thanks for upload, wud luv the whole coming up for air album if ye got it :)

  • Nice to see they're still around, cool live version.

  • how can she possibly look that GREAT!

  • Penetration were my favourite band when i was at school, I was devastated when they split in 79

  • Amazing, great video...Is this from a DVD? Loved this song when I first heard it in the late '70s; this sounds even better now. How great it is artists such as these(Penetration, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, etc.) are still alive and well, creating music, and playing concerts!

  • @eyerock36 yeah - it's from a dvd of a full live gig that I filmed in 2002. It's released by Cherry red records

  • good music lives forever

  • me too, i absolutely love it, and always have

  • ya they where back up group to s.l.f. at the welly club in hull

  • Frelling brilliant !

    Class song ,class act

    Paulines still got it

  • cross between" Gary Gilmores eyes" and "Belsen was a gas" ... unremarkable really ,just like the whole movement really

  • christ on a bike can people like you ever move on punk died the day"god save the queen" got to number 2 in 1977 even Pauline Murray will tell u that

  • so what! whats it got to do with you pal

  • doh! thats a dead smart reply mate its got everything to do with me cos this forum is about free speech you moron enjoy your gig you can pretend it 77 again

  • @dermot51 oh yeah your right, it is freedom of speech aint it, Your a cock

  • Come on mate try and do better than that are you an "Exploited "fan? punks not dead ? etcetera . youre a brain dead twat .. sorry mate freedom of speech its great innit ? now fuck off

  • @ dermot51

Opinions are like arseholes: everybody's got one.

It would appear you happen to have two of them :-)

  • do they sell tickets back to your planet ? please fuckin buy one mate and bring that twat from 77 with you

  • @dermot51 Don't you mean the media interest in punk died in 77? After all it was selling more records as a genre in the early 80's than it was in 77. Just because some elitist bands didn't like the newer bands stealing their thunder it doesnt mean the scene died, whatever Ms Murray said.

  • She's kept the energy. Good on yer, Pauline.

  • I would have laughed if the bloke with the Brown Ale bottle turned up again!

  • She can still kick ass!

  • i still have the original single of this.... what a top song

  • pure class this song

  • awesome i f--king love this track. 77 what a year

  • this is only song i remember from this band...i liked it then and i still like it now. good stuff. the spirit of 77 lives on. 1st wave rules!!!

  • Very good.

  • Off to see them at The Wickerman ina few hours.

Last time I saw them they were supporting The Buzzcocks in Carlisle Market Hall in 1978!

  • wow. i'm amazed at how great they sound so many years on. they were a tragically overlooked band, back in the day. but i've still got my dayglo copy of the first lp...as well as all the singles. great stuff.

  • one of them songs that gets better the more times you play it. . loved it then and now and in the future / see them at the whickerman this year.

  • Pauline, luv - we're beggin' ya - PLEASE play the states, especially in America's Heartland, i.e. Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Nashville, even my hometown of Cincinnati! Clem In Cin City USA

  • Fantastic band, and Pauline's voice could cut metal !!

  • i've loved this song from the first time i've heard it...

  • i was at this, i went with a bloke called Albert, who tried to hom me up in the bogs.

apart from that, it was a quality night out.

  • Nice live version. :-)

  • Loved it, takes me back.

    Do they still tour?

  • They sure do- just played the 100 club in London last week.
