Seen them playing, back in '89.

Been to many many concerts ever since, but this was the best I've ever seen. Opening with Street Fighting Years....still gives me the shivers.

It was raining so hard, that the lights and the PA broke down sometimes, so they only had vocals and drums, but they went on and on and on. And even though everyone was wet into their socks and undies, no one went away, but stayed and sang along.

Simple Minds are not just a "simple" normal band of the 80's! they were ,are and will be 4 ever, one the best live band ever!!Try to compare any single member of the band(JIm kerr,Charlie burchill(guitar),Mick mcneil(keyboard),derek forbes(bass guitar) and The Unreacheable Mel gaynor(Drummer) with anyone you want!!!......not many others musicians are better than them!
