well.. the idea behind it for me was to make people feel like he's building something in there... but in reality he's just a lonely guy living by himself trying to mind his own business but in society they see him as creepy and up to no good but he's actually just living his own life. all the regular stuff.. go to work, come home, eat, watch tv, brush teeth, sleep. ^^;;;

The subject matter is poking fun at paranoia AND the fear of the unknown ... this piece peers into the empty life and hopeless mind of a nosy neighbor ... interesting what some people see in the mirror when they view it? ... I think Tom gets the last laugh ... ;-)

Your character is too creepy looking for this piece. Waits is making commentary on the fear of the unknown in this song, not trying to portray an evil person holed up building something. Although I like the graphic style of your drawings, I think they miss the point of the piece.
