After Abdul runs away, can you watch the genie and Saladin fight, or does Alexander run automatically after Abdul? If you could watch them fight, I'll assume that gives Abdul enough time to kill Cassima thus giving you another "bad" ending. I just thought of that from rewatching this LP again. What do you think?

...but didn't in 2, 3, or 7. I guess it could go either way.

We've talked about it, but we probably won't do it. Partly because someone else has done it, and partly because it's not a game I really love. I like to goof off and explore all the unimportant but creative details in the game I can find, and KQV is kind of a disappointment in that regard... like, you'll try to touch something, and all the game does is show the "X" sign. :(

They're currently all finding themselves. Well that's what LateBLT said on his post about future LPs. It's going to be a couple of weeks before they do anything, and I dunno if it's going to be a Amon Ra post when they do come back. There's been a couple of possibilities thrown around, Neuromancer, Maniac Mansion -- Anything that's not Quest for Glory 3 or 5... But considering how long it's been since the last LB2 post, I would say we'll be waiting longer then a couple of weeks for it to start.

I loved this Lets Play but I was kinda happy it ended just cause it might lead to LB2 getting continued.

Things are kind of complicated right now as I'm getting close to graduating... Right now I have finals, next week I'll have to move out of my current place, and then I'll have summer school a bit later. And of course, LateBlt and Zwobot have stuff they're doing too. But I *do* plan on finishing The Dagger of Amon Ra someday... it would be terrible for it to remain unfinished!

So what I'm saying is, yeah, I plan on finishing LB2 next, but it might take a while...

Out of interest, what is your degree? I figure with your love of language.... English? the Arts? Of course, I could be completely wrong. After all I like language and grammar and my degree was on 3D animation.

My degree is officially called "Language Studies," with my concentration being Japanese. Basically, I learn the Japanese language, take linguistics classes, and pick out some electives (in my case, I chose mostly sociolinguistics classes). :) A very interesting major, but hard!

Oooh Spiffy. I would have liked to do something like that - Perhaps in German. But no matter, Currently very happy with my degree in Digital Media: 3d animation. It was pretty generalized, But I did end up specializing in 3D physics and Character animation. Though I'd love to do some class on Narrative structures and Non-linear story building. but I doubt they exist. ;P

Still, my Asian Studies professor was able to pass his Japanese language exam because the exact passage he had used as the focus of his preparation was also involved in the bulk of the test.

King's Quest VI is a great game, but the latter games in the saga seem to have abandoned the "Black Cloak Society" mistery for good, and that is supposed to be solved by that Fan-Made games (because there will be 3 episodes!) ^_^ I'm sure the result will be awesome

The latter games? I assume you're only talking about 8 because KQ7 has a member of the Black Cloak Society. Well Malicia is considered a member considering her mass of black cloaks. But I don't remember a single one in KQ8...

If you don't count that first guy that shatters the Mask at the beginning of the intro... Anyway I think the B.C.S. is an important part of the KQ Series plot and yet so unexplored, and I just wish The Silver Lining to make a big point about that :P

Why would a bunch of men dressed with Black Cloacks ruin the Kingdoms?

Also, I think there's a great plot character in KQ2 Remake of AGD Interactive...The Father...simply outstanding
