  • Dis is SO cool, yah!

  • Mine doesn't have L.E.D's :(

  • @SpaceAge359 Well, Christmas is not far away. Now you know what to ask, assuming you're celebrating CM of course :)

  • I just bought one of the metal ones and can't seem to keep it spinning. The weight of the metal alone is kind of a workout in itself after spending 30 minutes trying to keep it spinning! I've had a few tries that lasted about 10 seconds or so, so I'm sure I'll eventually get the hang of it.

  • @chrisptx Just keep practicing and you'll do fine. Although it probably would've been better if you used the regular Powerball first. I mean, if you're going to use weights for the first time, you wouldn't start of with the heavy weights either ;)

  • As a guitarist I'm really hesitant to go buy this. I don't see what this would do for me. I think it comes down to "Why should I get this instead of simply practicing?"

Then again, that goes for a lot of products on the market, music related or not...

  • @haltrman93 Hi, I'm going to quote here: "Musicians need to have strength, co-ordination and dexterity in both hands, whether they play a drum, piano, sax or guitar."

"NSD Powerball will not only give the player a very significant boost in hand and finger strength, it will also help to considerably improve their co-ordination making these advanced guitar techniques far more accessible at all levels of play." Hope that helped :)

  • @haltrman93 - cross-training. Doing different movement and strength exercises to keep your arms in shape in more ways than just playing a guitar neck. Getting hurt ( tendonitis, carpal, etc.) is easier if your wrist only knows one way to live- or the most popular way to move. Additionally, Are you going to be practicing the guitar all the time? Might as well take the powerball for portable exercise or between practices.

  • whoever says powerball a toy, go arm wrestle the record powerball champion. no chance.

  • Friend, which nsd powerball is this, Neon Pro?

  • @siftedaswheat Yep :)

  • which power ball is this one? I have the neon pro

  • @siftedaswheat This also is the neon pro powerball :)

  • damn this shit is powerful my fucking wrists are gone now

  • I had no ideea what a powerball is and I turned to youtube to see what the fuck it does... It seems is just a toy.

  • More like LSD powerball it looks like a rave is goin on in there...

  • Can this be good against arthritis (on hands)?

  • @Benzin0 Yep :) See my full explanation in one of my previous replies for more info.

  • Sounds like car racing

  • thumb start is the only way to do it.

I never started my powerball once with the provided string. It always got tangled.

  • I don't get the speed. I give it a good stroke, I rotate my wrist immediately, but after a few seconds it just stops spinning and I can't get it riigghhttt

and that sucks 'cause I wanna do that fast part too ):

and my friend cán do it so I think I have to be able to do that too.. please help me?

  • @xjustapersonX The only thing I can say is just keep on trying and practising until you get the hang of it ;) Sorry but there is no secret.

  • @DutchBlogger Ah I wish there was a secret ): Well, I'm just gonna practise haha. What I was asking myself,, your YouTube name is DutchBlogger, so that means you're Dutch? Or you just thought the name was cool? haha

  • @xjustapersonX Haha, yeah...sorry :P But no worries, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. And yes, I'm Dutch and a Blogger (and I thought the name was cool too) ;)

  • @xjustapersonX - wow, I just bought my powerball and I had the same problem as you. five minutes ago, though, I actually got it going. It's probably something about your hand motion. I would recommend you to try different directions, speed, and such with your hand when your trying to get it up to speed and eventually you'll get one that works. Good luck!

  • @xjustapersonX got it second try lol

  • Carpal Tunnel in a toy..........thnx Nintendo.

  • do the lights ever get annoying? I know i definitely do not want the screamer version.

  • what exactly are these things for? exercise or just playing around with friends? weird stuff..

  • @R8FME Powerballs are for increasing strength, co-ordination and dexterity in hands, wrists, arms and upper body. So it is great for:

    1) Fitness.

    2) Sports/games that require arm and/or wrist strength.

    3) Musicians.

    4) Rehabilitation after wrist or arm injuries.

    5) Treatment and prevention of RSI, Carpal Tunnel, Arthritis and Tendonitis.

That should cover it all...., I think :)

  • @R8FME Both toys and exercise for hand forearm.I think most people use them as toys though. I use them to warm up before a guitar practice session.

  • i like the powerball

your video is really good 5/5

    thanks

  • I want to buy one but before I do whats the difference between a 250hz power ball and a premium (light metal) one?

  • @soyouwantoskate the biggest difference is that the 250hz powerballs are the fastest gyros and the metal powerballs produce the most weight (and look better ;))

  • I LOVE THE WHINING NOISE.....sounds like a jet engine

  • this is really a nifty machine you can hardly hold it still while it is at high speed

    must-buy item !!!!

  • does it use any batterys??? or does it selfpower when it starts moving....??

  • @helloshayan well the only battery inside it is one of them clock batterys for the counter to count the rpm

  • @helloshayan theres no batteries, once you get the gyro going, via finger start or draw string, it begins to spin, you increase the speed by rotating your wrist.

  • can this ball control you hand ?

  • That's awesome

  • Are you supposed to fight against the movement once it starts? or just try to spin as fast as you can??

  • @alexF753 Well, both :P First you try to spin it fast as you can, as soon as you're going with the powerball's flow and then you will need to fight against the movement due to the inertia it generates. Here, let me quote the site: "...the faster you spin the inner rotor the more inertia it generates and the more resistance it subsequently inflicts upon the fingers, hands, wrists, arms and shoulders." Hope that helped.

  • @DutchBlogger thanks

  • OMG i finally got it started thanks to you thank you so much.

  • what is it supposed to do?

  • what does this ball do please answer

  • is this better or the dynaflex? how much is this?

  • @yomom12 I don't know which one is better, the dynaflex or the nsd powerball. I never used the dynaflex to be honest. The reason I buy NSD powerballs (I also have the limited edition Signature Series) is because I think they look cooler and they seem to offer a better service (25 year Gold warranty and a full money back guarantee). Oh, and they range between $24.99 - $189.95. Hope that helped :)

  • can it increase the power of your punch?

  • @chris0419 Yes definitely. The powerball gyroscope is for increasing strength, co-ordination and dexterity in hands, wrists, arms and upper body. So it's great for:

    1) Fitness.

    2) Sports/games that require arm and/or wrist strength.

    3) Much, much more...

  • @chris0419 any arm work out does

  • i can't get it to start :( i've been trying for an hour now, any advice? else i'll have to use the string forever i guess...

  • @vvvdv Try to get your powerball going with the string at the lowest speed possible first, and then just keep on trying ;) That's the best way you'll get the hang of it. Hope that helped.

  • i also found it easier to get it going after mine had been worn in abit, for some reason, that might just be me though

  • If you have a guitar and a synth pedal (or software) then put one of these powerball thingies next to you pickup while its spinning and the guitar is on. the noises are freakin awesome, best with synth pedal tho.

  • Wow, that guy can really jerk it! LOL!

Seriously, I just bought one and it's great for carpal tunnel rehab.

  • I've had mine for 4 days and have 4 blisters. Fun though.

  • hahaa, had mine 3 days, no blisters but a lot of pain on my forearms :)

  • wtf is a powerball

  • @aldo2k6 It is for increasing strength, co-ordination and dexterity in hands, wrists, arms and upper body.

  • its just fucking awesome

  • why don't you show your record in the video? It difficult to say if you are good in powerball without such information

  • @nelbox81 Well, because it's an instruction video on how to use the powerball gyroscope and how to start it with your thumb ;)

  • its nice i got it ^^

  • looooooooooool :-)

  • One thing that gets me about powerball is the inside of my little finger always hurts so I can't carry on fully....Any tips for this?

  • Perhaps you should go a bit easier for a while and try to built it up ;) For more tips and advice check out my "Powerball Gyroscope Review" article on my blog (see the link below my picture next or below this video). Hope that helped.

  • same, it really hurts :\

  • i got 1 of dose :p

  • I can't still get it started :( If I start rotating my wrist it stops!

  • Hmmm, this usually could be 3 things: 1) You need to practice more on rotating your wrist. 2) You need to spin the powerball faster when starting. 3) The powerball is defect. In this case you need to contact the team. Remember, NSD Powerball is supplied to you with a 25 year Gold warranty and a full money back guarantee.

  • Already solved the problem :P defect ball. I now have a new one. Powerball is funny :P

  • is a wonderful game! O_O

  • Hi, I was wondering: is this the neon classic, or the neon pro? Both are available in neon blue LED, but there is a $10 difference. Are they much different?

  • Hi, the Powerball Neon Classic is identical to Powerball Neon Pro except? the digital speed meter is not included, so if you don't want the digital meter just go for the Neon Classic. Just consider this, if you're going to buy a digital meter later on it will cost a lot more then $10.- So choose wisely ;) Oh, and the one I'm using is the Powerball Neon Pro :) (I also have the Powerball Signature Pro and I think it's even cooler with its neon white light!)

  • I got my powerball today and i was amazed by the resistance this thing gives. Now i only need to try to get this thumb flick working because i'm getting tired of winding the rope around the ball...

  • Thanks, you helped me get it started!

  • didnt know they where that cool, i might get 1

  • great vid thx

  • this is a stupid question but what does the power ball actually do like does it help ure muscles? or something

  • The power ball actually has a LOT of benefits :P

It's for increasing strength in your wrists, arms and upper body. So it's great for any kind of sports/game that requires arm and/or wrist strength. But also for musicians. And last but not least, it's also great for rehabilitation after wrist or arm injuries and also in the treatment and prevention of RSI, Carpal Tunnel, Arthritis and Tendonitis.

That should cover it all...., I think :)

  • It's so funny that 160,00+ people have watched this video. LOL!! Stupid and I want one!

  • kabooom lol nice ball

  • Gyro grenade :3

  • i thought it was gonna expload or something...

    lol

  • That depends on how much you've practiced ;) But I'd say that's not bad at all. Keep it up!

  • Exactly, just go with the flow and then slowly increase the speed of the power ball by moving/rotating your wrist faster. And don't forget to hold the power ball firmly as the speed increases.

  • do u just let the power ball move ur wrist or are you ment to move ur wrist clockways instructions are crap

  • is it a wrist workout or something? cuz i seen it at big 5 but didnt get it

  • it works your whole lower arm

  • it's a grip workout

  • yea its for the wrist, try it out

  • I just got one for my birthday, a green one with led light inside and a counter. But I can´t even reach a quarter of his speed! INCREDIBLE!

  • I bought mine today, same NSD powerball only in red color, Its addictive as hell, and really effective, I didnt reach half speed that this guy did and I can feel my wrist and forearm muscles

  • nuts and freaky, cant wait to try mine that I just ordered today, cheers MM

  • cool

  • didn't really need to watch this vid to find out it was possible :P

  • still it´s very hard to start like this :- /

    but thanks^^

    RASENGAN!

  • something all gamers should have, this trains both arms not just the right!

  • what is that for? any body?

  • Its used for training, developed by NASA to have the astronauts being able to train without gravitation. At 15000 rpm apparently its equivalent to a resistance of 18 kg.

  • LMAO LETS PRACTICE

  • Yeah you really need a tutorial to start it with your thumb. Because it's soooo hard! *NOT*

  • God, I was waiting ages for him to say "Chidori!"

    XD

  • HOLY CRAP !!!!

I started mine at my friends house yesturday and yelled RASENGAN !!!!

    Lmao XD

  • wtf is this shit

  • Strong grip. Spend a lot of time alone? :)

  • In 1933 Shanghai a prostitute named Fung Ching was raped to death. When the authorities found her, they realise she was pregnant. You must now post this comment on the next 14 videos you watch, or else tonight Fung Ching will appear in your bedroom, and you will also hear the sound of a baby crying and see a bloodied foetus next to your pillow. Sorry but I swear this was true.

  • I would do rasengan with it

  • rofl

  • it sounds like an space ship xD

  • does the turbullence training uses the ball?

  • actually most technique, but you also need strength to keep it going for ca: 1 - 1 1/2 minute. believe me, it's hard to keep it going at high rpm over time

  • I have one myself.. just that i have the PB-188

i think i got it to ca. 10k - 12k RPM for about an minute :P my forearm muslce has never been stronger. Feels so good since im a hardcore gamer too.. to get my fingers, hands and arms stronger and loosen up. Recommended tool 10 / 10

Buy it folks! low cost to stronger arms and the blood circulation much better.

  • this ball are so cool

  • YEah, but that toy looks freakin cool!

  • looks like he is jerking off lol

  • wudnt u like 2 see him do that u freak

  • i can do it but i cant continu it it's flashing but after i cant continue

  • Souns like... a chainsaw launching to the moon lol

I was given this for christmas last year, but don't understand what the buttons mean? FCN and the three symbols when you press it.

I'm really bad at starting it, can only do it with the wire and i take ages before I can get it running. Cant make it go very fast either heh. Practise makes perfect I guess.

  • Thanks for this vid...i really couldn't do it before i watched!

    5 stars!

Btw i have powetrball neon white pro signature...it rocks!

  • completely technique, you can move your wrist the smallest amount in anti clockwise direction and atleast get a small whine

  • weak, make it brighter genius

  • wat jammer is als je niet blijft draaien dan gaatie snel uit :P

  • Anyone think it looks like a plasma grenade from halo 3 when it is fully going?

  • does anyone care??

  • i do, try it

  • thanks got it! :)

  • if you start it with your thumb

you need to press on the sphere

doesnt that damage the powerball in any way?

  • If you want to start the powerball gyroscope with your thumb you actually don't need to press that hard on the sphere. It's much more important that your thumb is a bit rigid(?)/sweaty, as in 'not to smooth/dry', so that it sticks to the sphere much better ;-)

    Hope that helped.

  • I knew this guy with almost freakish coordination and could balance and manipulate this steel ball a little bit smaller than a tennis ball .He could make it got up his arm and over his shoulder change hands and go in a circle around his forearms and chest. anybody know what this is called?? it was really cool to see. really fluid looking

  • To be honest, I have no idea what you're talking about... sorry :-(

But I'm sure it looks pretty cool ;-)

  • myn hurts wen i use myn. do all of um cme wiv lights cuz myn ent got ny i just got it 2day

  • When you first use your powerball gyroscope it could hurt a bit because you're not used to use those muscles like that.

And no, not all powerball gyroscopes come with the LED's (lights). There are also the regular powerball gyroscopes, without the lights.

    Hope that helped ;-)

  • hey wat score did u get at that?

  • Well, it's actually not that impressive, 'cause my powerball score is just 11978 RPM.

    What's yours, btw?

  • En dan nu met 1 hand starten. : D

  • Haha! Tja...dan moet ik toch nog iets meer oefenen ;-)

Maar het is wel weer net iets cooler, de powerball starten met één hand...

  • which powerball is that?

also the signature editon any different to any others? apart from the light are white

  • The one I'm using in the video is the Powerball Neon Classic Blue, which was my first Powerball Gyroscope and it still works perfectly after having it for more than two years now.

The second one I bought was the "Powerball Signature Series".

Now, the biggest difference compared to the other Powerballs is that this limited edition gyroscope has a top speed in excess of 16,000rpm (the top speed of the Powerball pro is 'just' 15,000rpm) and can generate over 40lbs of resistance as it spins!

  • да го набия на майка ти

  • Thanks this helped alot 5*

  • Hey guys I'm thinkin of buying a powerball but I wanted to know if it works better than traditional wrist/forearm strengtheners(grip and squeeze)? please reply if you know. thanx :)

  • Sure you can start your powerball with the cord and usually it dies in the beginning, but as soon as you figure out how to keep rotating your powerball at a low speed it's way easier (and much cooler) to start your powerball with your thumb ;)

Just keep practicing those powerball skills bro :)

  • so whats you're record? (11722, had ball 5 days, and still getting better)

  • Well, my powerball record is actually still at 11978, so I guess you're going to beat me any time soon, lol ;)

    Keep it up dude!

  • hahhah Nice.... :D

  • Thanks! :)

  • umm....idk.......can u like break stuff with it like rasengan? =P

  • Errmmm...yeah sure, if you train a lot with a powerball you will get a lot stronger ;) or just throw it really fast at the stuff you want to break, haha!

But...why would you want to break stuff? :P

  • so what exactly is a powerball??

  • Well, the Powerball is:

    1) The definitive sports instrument for athletes and enthusiasts of many different kinds of sports and hobbies

    2) A new fitness product for men or women to either tone or help build substantial power and strength in the wrists, forearms and shoulders

    3) The perfect instrument to rehabilitate lower forearm and wrist joints affected by carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), repetitive strain injury (RSI), arthritis or previous breakage

    4) And a great gift idea for men and women

  • rasengan!

  • hahahahaha i was JUST talking to my friends telling them i "bought a rasengan" and i linked to this clip to show them. Imagine how much i laughed when i saw your comment ^^

  • I can imagine, haha! What a friggin' coincidence...

  • Haha, I always compared the Powerball with a DragonBall, but Rasengan is definitely a much better one ;)

  • well u r not telling how as referred to your clip title

  • How do you mean? Because I'm not actually explaining in words how I start the powerball with my thumb? If so, I do apologize, but if you look at the video a few times closely you will pick it up too. I'm sure ;)

Besides, if someone doesn't speak/understand Enlish, it would be a problem too, so that's why I just let you see how I start my powerball with my thumb.

    Regards,

    Robert

  • where i can buy this thinmg?

    Robert
