John Browning was a firearms GENIUS!...I love both of those pistols and own both of them. I'm more a fan of the early Browning designs. The 1903 and 1908 pocket and pocket vest. and of course the best pistol ever(imo) the 1911. Of course I have to give respect to FN Herstal, Without them we would never have the Browning HI-power or the "baby browning" so props to FN as well. But I will always be more of a colt fan. Anyway the gun as I stated in the earlier comment is real, I had only seen that gun as an airsoft before, under the name of "Colt 25". I noticed it said Browning Patent on the slide, can't remember the other things. The old lady said it was her great-grandmother who once had it, she was practising shooting alot, back in "the days". I just love how beautiful the gun is! So shiny and the model is very little and neat. And I'm living in Sweden, how much can she actually sell this beauty for?
This reminds me of something. I'm now 20 and I recently got a job where we go home to older people to help them during their daily ruitines (I don't know the english word for it, home service maybe?). So anyway I was going to an old lady a couple of days ago. She was sitting by the sofa watching tv and smoking. And I was surprised to see something shiny in her bookcase. I asked her what it was. She went there and then said "Don't get scared now!". She held a real antique Colt 1908 in her hand!
I also just made a addition to my gun collection being a baby browning,its nickel plated with pearl handles and gold trigger and a beauty and near mint condition,sure is pretty and cute and browning is as high quality as a gun can be in my oppinion and i already have a colt pony or colt jr 25 auto and it also is near mint condition and was my late fathers gun,I thought my colt pony was smaller than yours but after seeing them together there about the same size,,mine is blue with pearl handles.
