Well, while I still don't like the idea of pageants (especially child pageants), this was a really sweet moment. She seems like one of those outliers who just wanted to try a pageant for fun, since she has none of the crazy pageant makeup or anything. This actually made me a bit teary-eyed.

Ummmm ok question ....... How some of these kids toddlers ? I thought that once a child hits the age of 4 or 5 they become school age ex: Pre-School Pre-K Kindergraden.... At least thats what I was tought in early childhood education and care

I'm still not a fan of judging anyone in such a way but at least, in this case, the little girl looks like a little girl. No fake tan. No "flipper". No wigs. No flirting with judges. Just a little girl singing in a pretty dress. If this was child pageantry, I'd not be so vehemently opposed (to it).

If they say I want to do this infront of a camera it's often not the right thing! Most time the parents told them that they have to say this! So don't do any support for the child peagents!

I'm not crazy about pageants, but this is just the most wonderful tribute to her dad (and to a soldier), EVER! What a wonderful little girl! She will go so much farther in life than the other little shallow girls! I'm proud of her, and I don't even KNOW her! Great job!

As a mother I think of my daughters as the most beautiful girls of my life, they surpass mommy in looks, I don't want to alter there beautiful looks with makeup & fake hair styles, fake teeth & tans, I think they are so naturally cute, a simple adition to there natural hair with a bow, hair piece, or pretty dress compliments there beauty, nothing could make them look more beautiful, because, they are already beautiful inside & out so nothing will change, because beauty does not need to change
