this plane is in dayton ohio at the usaf museum. I was a child when it was brought there in the early 70s... I lived across the street from the musuem and spent many snow days there in the winter... i was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit when i was about 7 or 8...it is an amazing and beautiful plane
From the B-17 to B-70 in a span of 15 years. What an amazing time in the history of aviation. Makes the past 40 years seem stagnate by comparison.
