@posthumanhero like what you said ,was the neologism intentional? Because it is a lovely description of bill TORCHerous . He certainly led me out of darkness and into other dark messes ..... Hail the olympian of the 20th century
This video is fantastic. Well done. This book is so beautiful, and it was a pleasure seeing a video created that appropriately pays homage to the cut-ups while providing a visual track to one of Burroughs' most heart-felt and heart-breaking narrations.
Thanks for this craft of dreamachine-subliminary genius! In such ways, cats form the gatekeepers between the realms of the unknown and our earthly existence. Even without words, they tell us secrets that to them probably are none at all. SvD

It may take you a lifetime to ''figure out'' William S Burroughs. It may appear difficult at times, but do not give up. His works are the highlight of verbal communication throughout the ages. THE highlight. It's worth the effort.
You can imagine the powers that be do not want you to know who he is.
Dear Uncle Bill, is a hero to many. If you read Eric Mottram's writing about Uncle Bill, it will help you understand what's going on.
6:57 ha ha ha! "..all cats do is 'prrrrrr' and alienate the master's affections from my shit-eating face." LOL
Seriously though, Burroughs is not correct about dogs being better mousers (he must be crazy!)
I never met a dog that was a pathological killer, that killed because she Had to kill
Some cats are psychotics, pathological killers to the point of genocide. You got dogs in Australia and still have koalas and ostritches. Throw in a few tigers and in 300 years you have a dead island
Excellent tribute, I love Burroughs ever since I heard him reading Annabel Lee (by Poe) in a pretty old, not very well known game (The Dark Eye), if I can I'll download the game again and upload the recording.

I've always agreed with everything Burroughs said about cats through observing my own cats. Great film!

I think what W.S.B. is saying is that dogs could do a much better job of mousing if they had a mind to- why don't they?
PeeteyP 2 years ago
Actually in Australia the feral cats are taking care of the Kolas haha they are the ultimate predators AND psychic companions

@ISleepNow
Terrier breeds
Breed for mousing and larger weasels and such. Honestly, show a dog a mouse and he'll chase it.
