  • You've lost me at 50 million people killed by Soviet revolution, where did you get this number? The recorded lists of victims amounts to about 3 millions in 70 years and even the most frivolous estimates run closer to 15-20 millions. If you start with a lie that kind of negates everything afterwards. Sorry

  • @boyzorro About to make the same comment. All proper academic research indicates a million or so by the civil war itself. And entire soviet period if you include all deaths from famine like you said only amount to about 15-20 million.

  • @Scientisticsoviet Also include afghanistan & in that number.

  • This isnt about jobs!

Its about corporate influence on our government. I cant stand people that say you should be grateful things are not like that country. We are evolving as humans and with your attitude we will be content. Are you happy with the illegal wars? The war on drugs? Constitutional rights stripped away? Oh I remember I should just be happy i'm not in another country? LOL

You sir need to do some more research. Start with a guy who didnt flee his country Dr. RON PAUL 2012

  • Your wrong! Its not envy at all! It is about saving people and the earth. We want to go back to our constitution and get corporations out of our government now! Those occupiers give the whole city a platform for our voice. 78% of occupiers work or own businesses. End the FED and bring all our troops home now. Is that clear enough for you? You are a fear monger. We are not satisfied with other countries have it worse so go be a good slave! 50,000 homeless in LA alone?

    OWS

    TEA PARTY

    VOTER

    HUMAN

  • @huntingtonbeachify 78% of occupiers work or own businesses? That's not exactly something to be bragging about....

  • @LifeisGood762 Why?

  • @huntingtonbeachify It means you have 22% unemployment. That's bad right?

  • 14:00 Nailed it. I am disgusted that as a 20 year old I will be forced to hear this garbage for the rest of my life. The sense of entitlement that has pervaded my generation baffles me. I have never understood anyone my age who wants something but doesn't want to work for it. Maybe I'm lucky, maybe I just have great parents who instilled a sense of hard work in me. I don't know. But the fact that this is what the world sees in the future of America should have China licking their lips.

  • there should be a flat tax. plain and simple. each person pays the same percentage of their income.

  • These protesters disgust me. Their use of words like 'oppression' and 'injustice' is an insult to everyone else around the world who has actually had to suffer through them. Take it from a Christian who lived to live in the capital of Saudi Arabia; the USA does not oppress its people in any way, shape, or form. The injustice they complain about is nothing more than class warfare. The protesters are just a bunch of kids who want to live out their wet dreams of being hardcore revolutionaries.

  • These protestors are just being used to foment chaos and promote socialism, this has been set up in order to declare martial law once things get crazy enough, then we'll have a socialist revolution it's incredible people can't see this planned destruction of America, for heaven's sake what does it take to wake people up?!

  • I knew he was going to say envy. He is right. Because they hate something they want for themselves. It is called hatred of the good for being good.

  • like the man says. E-N-V-Y.

  • THERE IS ONE RULE OF THUMB - my property (me myself, my belongings, intellectual) shall belong to me 100%, and I shall be in command of it 100%. Your shall be in command of yours 100%. You & I suppose to be in command of 0% of other people's properties. Everything that governments, congresses, police, etc are doing shall not change this equitation. No government and no power however democratic it is shall have a right to change it. This is your test for any intervention of any kind.

  • Thanks!

  • The guy at 4:50 actually knew what he was talking about. Legalizing drugs has it's pros/cons and that argument is akin to any prohibition one so I won't get into that right now but everything else the guy said is right.

  • Thank you for at least trying to get the truth out, it is much appreciated!

  • I'm certainly dying from envy.

  • How right you are, Sir! Way too many Americans take their freedom for granted and are like sheep....it looks "cool" to wear a Che shirt, or Mao shirt. They don't even KNOW the brutality of REAL Communism or what REAL Fascism is! Job well done and thanks for sharing this video! I am one thankful American woman!

  • Classic spin tactic. Why would a group of protesters "envy" the people they are protesting against, wouldn't they instead try to emulate them rather than change the system? You're all but calling these protesters guilty of greed, and being far worse than a system of government ready and willing to take lives (even of it's own citizens) in the name of "security."

You probably aren't understanding because you're too busy making accusations rather than listening carefully.

  • @azraelevilgod Attempt? it discredits itself daily. My morning bowel movement makes more sense than this "movement" and frankly stinks a lot less too.

  • Hey, you have a new subscriber. People like you are the very reason this country even exists. Thank you for your bravery and uploading to YouTube.

  • Dying from one word.

I was going to say Stupidity but I'll settle on Envy lol.

  • The folks who clicked on dislike made a mistake. They thought it said DIS I LIKE!

  • I'm sure that Libertarian guy owned the shit out of him. Too bad he didn't show the answer on this vid.

  • @TheObamican

The libertarian guy sounded like he knew what he was talking about... too bad he was in the wrong place. Libertarians just look silly protesting wall st.

  • Wow, for him to think that the United States is actually free is ridiculous. This is a police state. The government doesn't even follow the constitution. We have a President that is assassinating 16 year old teens. We can go to jail for eating a brownie because it has a certain plant in it. This country funds and supplies dictatorships all around the world. Envy isn't what unites us, freedom does the only bad side is that some of these protesters don't know what freedom is. Read my lips FREEDOM!

  • Mr. Weinstein, this is fantastic! Bravo sir! Well done!

  • There is a lot wrong with this country BUT we have to remember all the blessings we do have, even in our depression we are still the richest country on Earth that throws away things that people die for in other countries. Also as for changing what's wrong with the USA, I don't think it's done with envy, lawlessness, and rioting. You can't solve a problem by causing more problems. We must solve it by starting out with thankfulness and selflessness.

  • well... in countries that are considered very 'free' and 'civilized' there are a whole more laws.

example Germany: heavy censorship about anything related to WW2. the Gov has the right to edit/ban all printed material.

Political parties are banned and called 'terrorist organizations' if they are too right wing.

the Police can search you, your car/house when ever they want\.

they can arrest you for suspicion and/or association.

you have to buy health insurance.

The USA is Free. deal with it!

  • Covet thy neighbors

  • Do you happen to have this written down anywhere? Well, typed out. I can't quite understand your accent.

  • Sorry, right wingers, the counter propaganda has failed and continues to fail. The will of the people is always stronger than the attempt by the establishment to remain as-is. Once a movement like this starts, those who fight it end up as casualties of historic scorn, not patriotic resisters of the inevitable.

  • @Razorback613 Dream on. It's not just "right-wingers," it's normal decent people throughout the country who are catching on to what a morally and intellectually bankrupt movement this is.

  • @Razorback613 Don't delude yourself.

  • @Razorback613 "Once a movement like this starts, those who fight it end up as casualties of historic scorn, not patriotic resisters of the inevitable." Like the 100+million that died under communism? You see your movement isn't really a movement of the people. Your 99% is really more like 22%(in terms of agreement) at best in the US. Sure you may have some international support but they can't vote here. It is your (communist & nazi supported) movement that history won't be kind to.

  • You failed to capture what is going on in my opinion. Occupy has a more subtle approach. But there is something there. And it is growing.

  • Envy (also called invidiousness) is best defined as a resentful emotion that "occurs when a person lacks another's (perceived) superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it."

  • Thank you! Most of these folks wouldn't last two seconds in a Communist country. I propose a citizen exchange program and am quite certain that there would be willing participants in Cuba, North Korea, Congo, Iran, etc. These jokers haven't the slightest idea what oppression really is. The one woman, who came down from Pebble Beach, isn't that a wealthy area? Maybe they live in a tent on the beach?

  • @Daisy123M HAHAHA!!. That's an excellent idea.

  • These people would be described at the "far right" America is not a Democracy, but a Republic. Send these Russian Revolutionist packing back to Russia. WE don't want you!

And further more, take that Levi Strause shirt you are wearing with you. Levi and company are commie profiters

  • These people would be described at the "far right" America is not a Democracy, but a Republic. Send these Russian Revolutionist packing back to Russia. WE don't want you!

  • Great video. Thanks for this.

  • E N V Y - EXCELLENT synopsis. Thank you Leon Weinstein. I wish there were more people like you (who has lived in Communist/Socialist countries) to speak up and out.

  • ACORN And Soros is behind it all, common scents tells you this..Pus the Bad sided of the Unions.

  • I guess being an ex-soviet you are allowed to be a a fascism apoligist now?

  • @PktMma What a dummy you are. Indoctrination does not = education. Sad.

  • Thank you for this perspective on the "Occupus" in Los Angeles. I'm wondering if you are the only person to ask the same question I have been wanting to ask, "What would need to be done for them to consider their protest a success?" They are useful idiots who for some reason believe they will be spared in any Great Purge.

Watch (and listen to) former KGB Agent Yuri Bezemov's interviews about communism here on YouTube: The Brainwashing of A Nation (USA).

  • It's amusing that they want to "restore Democracy". The United States is a constitutional Republic. We have never been a "Democracy". The Founders despised democracies.

  • @libertytoad Exactly. Plato hated Democracies too, he said that Democracy killed Socrates (it did). Democracy is two wolves and one sheep deciding on what is for dinner.

  • @libertytoad The United States is a democratic republic.

  • @libertytoad Wrong... were a democratic republic.

  • @waycooltoo

No, he is correct. The United States is a constitutional republic that operates under a representative democracy.

In the U.S., the rule of law is supposed to trump all; that's where the notion of constitutionality comes from.

A bill won democratically in the legislative and signed into law by the executive, for instance, can be repealed by the judicial if the law can be proven unconstitutional. If a law is illegal, it doesn't matter if it's democratically popular.

  • @waycooltoo

Of course, citizens have democratic elections to decide who will represent them in the congress of the federal government in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

There are also democratic elections under the electoral college to decide who will execute the duties as president and vice president.

But matters of legislation are handled by members of congress who are supposed to listen to their constituents as well as consider the law.

  • @waycooltoo

Now, to clarify the notion that it wouldn't matter if a law is illegal, its popularity wouldn't matter.

Legislation has to stand up to what is, more or less, a litmus test.

If a proposed legislation or a passed law is contradictory to provisions as stated in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and/or the subsequent amendments, then the legislation or law is unconstitutional.

  • @Watcher3223 You`re ignoring history. Democracy also travels in a mob & throughout our history, when large enough crowds have non-violently gathered, they have been victorious (Vietnam, Civil rights movement, Womens mov. etc.). When enough of the massive (but disappearing) middle class go hungry, there could even be war. This "let them eat cake" attitude from Wall st is only fanning the flames for an all out civil war. Historically speaking, mobs trump laws.

  • @waycooltoo

I wasn't talking about your interpretation of the history of democracy when I was trying to inform you what the U.S. system of governance is and why it was established that way.

Great way to try and divert the fact that you're wrong to state that the U.S. is a "democratic republic."

  • @Watcher3223 I`m glad to hear you`re not going to vote, then.

  • @waycooltoo

I do vote, dude. And I communicate with my reps.

If you read anything about what I had typed, there are elections to choose whom you feel is best to represent you.

And, you ought to always communicate with your representatives, otherwise how are they supposed to know what you expect of them?

The government works properly only when the constituents stay informed and stay in touch with and keep up the pressure on the elected so as to remind them who they work for.

  • @waycooltoo

However, one thing people must know is that the government is really only there to abide by and uphold the law, particularly supreme law as indicated in the Constitution; that's its first priority.

The issues of society, including how citizens watch out for one another and why, are really the domain and responsibility of the people themselves. It's not the government's job beyond the scope of maintaining law and order to do that for its citizens.

  • @Watcher3223 OK I was trying for a joke there. So...if you`re voting, you see one of the more important aspects of democracy. Unlike Libertytoad who said this was never a democracy.

  • @waycooltoo

Except he's still right. It's your representative that votes on the legislation for you, and the legislation must be constitutional otherwise it can be repealed on judicial challenge if it's ever signed into law.

Your vote has the power to help keep that servant in office or to replace him/her. That vote gives incentive for a representative to listen to his/her constituents.

  • @waycooltoo

Having it that way means that there will be selfish people who won't help others. But, just as well, there will be those who will be charitable and WILL help others without having anyone above them to coerce them to do it.

There will also be winners and losers.

But, that's American freedom as good as it gets, for better and for worse.

And, while I may not know about you, but I'd rather live in a country where I'm afforded that chance, despite the risks.

  • @waycooltoo

As for "corporatism" and "crony capitalism," that's the unintended consequence of trying to use government to fix problems beyond the scope of upholding the law, despite good intentions.

The government can't merely pass whatever law it wants without people having a say about it. That's how lobbyists get in to represent their own interests, with their influence corrupting the political process.

Keeping the gov. out means you keep the lobbyists out. It's a two way street.

  • @Watcher3223 How about this for a temporary fix:Take the money out of politics.

  • @waycooltoo

A permanent fix is to get private banks out of the business of denominating the currency. Issuance of money ought to be the domain of the government.

  • @Watcher3223 But there are fox about. Somebody or something MUST watch the hens. Why cant we change to a modest, fair, & even distribution of public financing for elections. It would cut the head off the problem. The public owns the airwaves anyway

  • @waycooltoo

"Why cant we change to a modest, fair, & even distribution of public financing for elections"

The problem is who would do it.

I'm not necessarily speaking of people who may not want the job, but having a job with that level of decision-making entails a level of power that can corrupt. Or, the person or people who would make the decisions could be influenced from someone or something from the outside to favor a specific agenda.

  • @waycooltoo

Sources of social and financial power, be it public or private, will always be run by people.

And, as you very well know, people are not perfect. In positions affording such power, a person can give way to greed and vice.

There must be a way to provide a balance to that power to provide a safeguard against it being used in a manner not intended.

  • @Watcher3223 "There must be a way to provide a balance to that power..."

Sure... make a law. If government should ever intrude, it should be to keep itself honest.

  • @waycooltoo

"Sure... make a law. If government should ever intrude, it should be to keep itself honest."

That wasn't exactly what I was thinking.

Though legislation is a useful tool, Tacitus had said that, the more corrupt the state, the more it legislates.

  • @waycooltoo

A very imperfect, but nonetheless valid, solution would be to truly empower all people under the spirit of the 2nd Amendment. Nothing quite provides the incentive to govern properly than to know that failure to do so invites REAL revolution. The kind that could very well cost lives, unfortunately.

Part of what could help it, however, would be reaching those in law enforcement and the military, reminding them of their service and duty to the people and the constitution first.

  • @waycooltoo

According to the constitution, it's the right of the people to alter or abolish government and replace it with new government should the old order fail to uphold its duty, like only deriving its power from the consent of the governed and upholding people's rights, including that to pursue life, liberty and happiness.

But, it's all up to the people.

As Ben Franklin said when posed a question of whether a republic or a monarchy had been created: "a republic, if you can keep it."

  • @waycooltoo

Now, that's not to say that corruption can never happen with a government that does not intervene, but an intervening government makes it much easier for, say, a big bank or a big corporation to intervene in the affairs of government at the expense of the people.

"You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours." The only way to stop that is to keep politics and business separate.

  • @Watcher3223 Politics & business has never been separate. Not until they reverse the supreme court decisions "money is free speech" and "corporations are people too" as being unconstitutional. I believe America should be better than this.

  • @waycooltoo "I believe America should be better than this."

Well, at least we agree on that.

You may also agree that big business is a bad influence on the process.

How to solve it is where it's divergent. I'm cynical that having greater government involvement would fix it because it may only solidify big business' hold, especially with current elected officials.

Remember what's been said about "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours?"

  • @waycooltoo But... I think they should organize a party.

  • Thank you so much for the work you did on this video. It is the very best coverage that I have seen of any of the "Occupy Movements".

  • I appreciate all those that go into the 'war zone' so to speak, to gather info as this man has. The reports back are very interesting and enlightening but the conclusion that is drawn here is profound. It makes me hope and pray that the right people see this video and are graced with an epiphany. And yes @deorahmouser "at least Tea Partiers don;t cause riots." - sammye

  • Wow. We take so much for granted. So many people don't understand what they actually have.

  • @deborahmouser you are so correct on this. I wish more could open their minds to what communism really is. I was there when the tea party started which was against too many taxes and corporate corruption. Now I am here watching this, even in my own small town. What i found out is that the ones in MY TOWN specifically are mostly Liberals and SOcialists. In fact the group organizing everything is the Lafayette La Progressive Group. At least Tea Partiers dont cause riots. At least not Ive seen

  • This is fantastic, thank you.
