at the end of the practice question, she would add "to ka". What was the meaning of that & could you do an episode going over particles in general (ka, de, wo, yo, ne, ra, koto, etc... when & where to use them in sentence structure, thank you)
Also, what program do you use or how do you write the kana & kanji?
Thank you! I have been wondering how to use this properly since I started studying Japanese. I hear 'Kankeinai darou' all the time, and Ive been wondering how to spell it :P 関係ないだろう!
Aw but I thought "Shitsureishimasu" meant "Excuse me" or something along those lines. I heard that you use it when yo're the first one to leave a conversation. Is that wrong?
It literally means you are being impolite. So when you leave a conversation first you are being impolite and so you should say that. You're not wrong, but I didn't contradict you either.
In a culture well known for its furo or onsen, you may imagine more than 5 generations of families who are very/intimately familiar with each other since millenium. Your villages, cities, towns would be centered around furo or onsen. A concept such as "non of your business" would be very foreign. Even if one was not inquisitive, he/she will eventually learn or hear whatever it is or was that one was inquisitive about.
Ken Tanaka does this head tilt business accompanied by this deflating baloon sound made with your tongue & teeth. This equates to "kankei nai yo", or "kankei nai yon", said with cuteness.
no seriously, do you just talk to random strangers there? or do you know them or something? because I don`t think they would follow me if I`d ask them to
I like your lessons but I personally dont like when you loop a certain clip. I think its better to ask the person to repeat what they say as opposed to looping a clip.
This one is actually very helpful. And by this i mean being a lesson that is useful while also being something not commonly taught in formal classes. (And these type of lessons are necessarily for morons ^_^)
mm...once again a video with a lot of diffrent ways of saying the same thing! That really good! Like the fact that one video explanies one sentense! Easier to find the right video that way!!
But I would like to have a explanation of every part of a word. like masu ending and stuff like that... anyone else that feels the same need for this kind of information or am I the only one at this level of japanese..?
Now, she was awesome. I like her because she wasn't shy at all in front of your camera. Some of the other "Yuki"s you've used act very shy. You said something about her being an actress?
Oooh I see, this is pretty useful. I don't know if gaijin gets harassed a lot, but I could see the usefulness of this phrase~
Aww she's pretty nice to lend us her teaching wisdom tell her ありがとうございました from my behalf and everyone else~ (Also applies to the other assistant that you had (^ω^))

excuse me , I have a question ,,
i noticed that when you ask her about her name , she pronounced the word like : "konkei"
and when she pronounced it in the polite way , she said : "kankei"
so , which pronunciation should we use ??? ^___^
Tomato3Soup 2 years ago
KANKEI. I don't hear a "konkei" sorry.

in this situation, "kankei nai" means " I don't care."

AjikanPanda 2 years ago
First reaction: You get what you get and LIKE IT!
2nd: Try not to listen to the loops.
3rd: Complaint, complaints, complaints!
You realize how long it takes to edit something like this?
Actually asking a Japanese person who is NOT a real teacher to repeat things is painful. They can never seem to remember what they just said.
