  • when i shoot the ball i tend to flick the ball with the thumb on my non-shooting hand, i do it because the ball feels more stable when i shoot but it's obviously the wrong way to be doing things, any tips?

  • @thefunnyeskimo You should take your non-shooting hand off of the ball as you extend your shooting hand for your shot. A jumpshot should basically be a one-handed shot. Watch any good shooter release the ball at the very last second, and you'll notice that the ball is only in one hand. It's gonna take a lot of practice and time to fix your shooting mechanics, but it's worth it.
