Ehh, CD's and DVD's won't be gone as there one of the few means of physical back up, once you put a file on a CD or DVD, it doesn't come off(okay I know some CDs and DVDs can be rewriteable, but those are beyond the point). Where as hard drives and such are much more prone to data loss. However I belive cloud computing will be the next big thin in storage. Cloud computing is having your files hosted somewhere on a server and you access them,while it may be flawed bytodays restrictions,Itllhappen
