Great rundown of common file formats for client hand off. I think, however, giving Ai editable files to a client could (*could* mind you) be a recipe for disaster if said client likes to mess around with shapes and colours. Usually a designer has tried very hard to define the logo or type treatment in terms of style and color ... a graphic standard (a brand) is usually the result of hiring a designer in the first place. Leaving an editing door open to the client is risky from a branding POV.
Clicked on this vid thinking it wouldn't hurt to review some info learned back in college and you ended up answering a question I hadn't been able to remember the answer to (in reference to .png files), good stuff. Thanks for taking the time to do these vids.
I've been working on making t-shirt designs. And I can't see to find any good tutorials on making those vintage worn out designs. I've seen them showing up alot on everything and I was wondering if you knew any good ways to do so. I know you can buy a filters for photoshop from Mister Retro. But I don't know if I wanna spend that kind of cash.
