Lots of people will play the smuggler class. The jedi and sith aren't all powerful in the game, all classes have their advantages. Not to mention Han Solo is one of many people's favorite character, and they would probably want to play the same class as him.

You know what I would think would make this game even greater? Now i know they said it's kotor 3,4,5,6 beyond but it would make the game greater if they made a kotor 3 game that was about the exile and revan, bring back some of the characters that were in both 1 and 2, you can tie in a story leading up to the old republic too. I think it would make the series even greater then.

Although little was giving about the smuggler class, I must admit that the best thing I heard was that they were not going to release a game that still has many bugs in it. Sure, there probably will be bugs in it like with any game, but after seeing what happened with Battlefront (espcially BF2) I think that is the wise decision.

The Bounty Hunter uses blasters too, you know?

The scrubs will play Bounty Hunter, Jedi, or Sith. While the experienced MMO players will play Smuggler.

The Bounty Hunter is different kind of ranged combatant.

The Smuggler is more stealth oriented combat wise and in that respect actually requires more skill than the bounty hunter or trooper does.

The BH and Trooper both fit the ranged equivalent of the barbarian in D&D while the smuggler is more like a rouge.

You fools sound like kids. All classes will have their utility. Troopers will have heavy firepower and armor to take the beating. The smuggler will be used for flanks and distractions. Bounty hunters will have tools for every target and scenario but can be equally outplayed. From the very little that has been seen of gameplay, NONE of the classes look difficult to play, and advantages will be scenario appropriate and unbiased.

@7trenchy I really wanna get the game , but it's not avaliable on my Country =( ... i don't wanna spoil the fun , but i've played as a Sith and as a Jedi till around level 30 , and the sith choices were pretty much " Be a bad ass or be a pussy " .. the jedi questing was more fun and more deep.

@7trenchy Oh yeah sure, smuggler is the one i' ve seen the least , but i wanna play him too .. he will DEFINILY be the one that people less play with , and his quests seen pretty fun , like starting fights in a cantina xD .. but yeah i guess if you go a light side smuggler you'll be more loyal and kind , and if you're more of a dark side smuggler you'll steal ships , grab the bounty reward instead of save the little girl , those kind of situations.

@7trenchy I played as a Sith , a Jedi , a Bounty Hunter and a little bit as a Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitor..and credits are usable in EVERYTHING , the game has it's own economy like in any MMO , you can spend credits to customize your ship , to fuel your ship, to buy equipments, schematics for crafting, skills, mounts, mount proficience ... pretty much everything ! , and it's not really hard to gather credit, i never ran out of money the whole time i've played.

@7trenchy Oh yeah , if you never played an MMO before this is definily the one you should start with .. it's easy to pick up, easy instructions , easy to get the hang of the combat , you don't have to worry about running out of money.. The Sith Inquisitor is consisted in two Advanced Classes(you'll choose them when you reach level 10) .. you can be a Sith Sorcerer, you'll use a regular lightsaber and you'll barely use it, you'll be focused on Dark Magic and striking people down with Lightning..

@7trenchy ...(continuation) search " Unlimited Power " on youtube enter the first video and see an example of a Sith Sorcerer xD ... the other choice is Sith Assasin , you'll use a double bladed lightsaber and you'll be a hybrid you'll use your lightsaber and a few magic tricks , and you will go invisible to attack... the Sith Inquisitor quests are pretty much discovering ancient Tombs and exploring caves, looking for Sith artifacts and deceveing world leaders corrupting their mind.

@7trenchy Oh np man ... yeah i'm not really into fighting big monters and exploring caves and artifacts,althought the Jedi Consular and Sith Inquisitor aren't ONLY that , they are pretty much the brains and the Jedi Kight and Sith Warriors are the strenght .. if you like more thinking quests, deceveing , giving advices, participating into senates like in the movies,i've heard the developers say that the smuggler's class quest is definily the funniest and full of suprises xD.

@7trenchy Hahaha... yeah, i haven't decided who to play too,but the first chapter of the Bounty Hunter questing is called " The Great Hunt ",you'll pretty much try to prove to the world that you can catch the deadliest targets, and recover ANY bounty in the galaxy,it's really about breaking in and capturing important fugitives, if you liked the smuggler you'll LOVE the Imperial Agent ,it's kind of the same thing, working in the shadows but the imperial agent makes you feel like a Star Wars 007.

@matheuswoww :D the mercenary specialization for the bounty hunter looks awesome :D ahhh the imperial agent... i havn't seen or read as much about that class, i'll look into it :) the only thing i dont want is for all the top players to go with the sith empire, i just have a feeling they will and it'll make the game unbalanced :|

@7trenchy Yeah the mercernary is basically just shooting missiles out of your back and your wrists, but you won't freeze people or set them on fire... yeah the imperial agent is KIND OF like the smuggler, but you'll either use a rifle as a middle-close range going stealth and knifing people , or you'll be a sniper which is long range, sniper is the best class on the game so far, and yeah i'm pretty sure that the empire will be completly unbalanced.

@7trenchy If you think about it , it's the opposite, kids always like to look MEAN and SPIKY , like in WoW the Horde is the majority, well, the Powertech is the tank class which only wields one pistol , set people on fire,and wears heavy armor,Mercenary dual wields pistols launch rockets,and wears light armors,and mercenary has a healing tree too, I would say that Powertech feels more like bobba fet because of the heavy armor design,the freezing ability and pretty much all stuff he does lol.

@7trenchy Haha true that , i have a bunch of videos of SWTOR leaked gameplay that have vanished already , and i have two videos of PvP and there's a part where TWO Jedi Knights attack a Bounty Hunter Powertech by himself so he does a 360 turn freezing them both , then he reaches out a sharp blade out of hist wrist like Assasins Creed, kill the first jedi by knifing him the face and then set the other one on fire xD .. i can send it to you if you want haha.
