Hi Jazzygirl! I just stumbled on your videos today. Good work! I just found an AlphaSmart at a flea market today. They're surprisingly versatile and easy to use. I'm not in school any more (I', 31) but I plan on using mine for the stories i write. It'll be great for when i get an idea while away from the computer. You can't beat the battery life either. The three AA batteries last for up to SEVEN HUNDRED HOURS of typing!
that's interesting. just wondering why use an alpha smart instead of a netbook? does it have other features that are easier to use / more accessible / better for school type things than a netbook? thanks for posting!
