  • Dam Good Tractors the County,

I don't think that 1 had a Tourqe Converter did it.,

  • clima change made it necessary even for North Irish truckers to think about wheelchains next year or why hasnt he them on ??

  • Dacent vid!!

  • love the sound

  • Countys good grippers!

  • nice whistle out of the turbo on that 1454

  • Oh then you have problem if you cant lift the tag axel. You have to fix that so you can do that, save alot of nerves.

This winter I got brand new spike tires. Did had to put on the chains so many times. Very nice. I could recommend that!

  • where was this??

  • andersons hill near newtownards northern ireland

  • Alli.

    Does it snow in Ireland......?.

  • Was that a big problem??? Wow!!! Ever heard about snowchains, diff lock or lift the tag axel.

  • No big problem. He didn't have snow chains and not much point in fitting them for less than half mile pull. Diff lock was on. Load was too heavy to lift the tag. We had a tractor and chains so it seemed the easy solution.

  • thats you told. how clever do you feel now! lol

  • If they had any brains they'd have the chain shorter & have attached in the top link pin on the tractor.Giving a downward pull on the county as she moves on,thus giving better traction.CLOWNS!

  • that idea is catch 22... your idea results in weight being lifted off the front driving wheels, also i have seen many top link lugs pulled out of gearbox doing that!

  • pulling the toplink attachment bracket out f the gearbox ???

then how many tractors were hooked in tandem ??

  • the better tandem designs were hooked in tandem by a special sub frame

  • yes, but i meant, it usually requires the traction of 2 tractors to rip apart a top link bracket. I've pulled trees with the 3pt scoop filled with dirt as ballast, attaching the chain to the dirt scoop at top link height. Then i used to drop the lift and stop dropping it just before the front axle touches the ground, so the dropping weight yanks the chain (and top link bracket) even more... ;-)

  • yeah, i spose it just depends on the tractor...and strength of toplink bracket. ive seen some pretty weak ones on heavy tractors. seen at least 2 broken from heavy ploughs.

  • That´s not a catch 22 I drive all over Norway lift my tag axel when ever its needed, normaly you cant lift it over 11000 kg, but with some help from Scania I now can lift it and drive without any limit. If I cant turn just let the tag axel down or I put a chain on the front axel. And ofcause real tires!!

  • whats not catch 22?

  • That boy is fair keepin da toe til er hei! PS Squeak is back!!!

  • wid he nae been better liftin his tag axle???

  • good to see you got a proper tractor for the job

  • the whistle out of the turbo sounds great

  • new tyres?

  • yeah!, helped considering she had no wafers on!

  • yeah i no i seen the pic on bebo hehe! gd vid though! take it that it was cold?? we are the same up here starting to melt all slushy horrible bah humbug!!!!
