Thanks, free help is always nice. But despite your supercilious tone, "feather" does not merely determine how rounded the corners are, it determines how soft the edges are. If you do not feather, you just end up with a frame, like when you use "stroke."

Do you have a tutorial on.... well I dont even know what to call it ...

Im making a logo on photoshop and Im uploading it to a website. the logo is a magnafying glass that I found on google and some text on top of it. The problem is that I used the majic wand to get rid of the inside of the magnafying glass and to cut out what I needed but now the edges are cutting off sharply and I want it to fade when I upload it to the other website.... understand?! Kinda confusing. please help.
