Thanks for the info! I'm going to build one of these when I return home from Iraq next month. You can do this without the switch. It will only carry current when the guitar is plugged into the input jack, so the switch is redundant. I'm going to experiment with different speakers and batteries, to see if the sound changes substantially. I'm also going to try it with single coils and HB's. I'll also mount it in different boxes, to see what happens. This will be perfect when I travel! Thanks!
