There is so much shit thats drug related. Drug users are not criminals! some of them maybe, just as some normal citizens maybe.They need to legalize all drugs, then they can be regulated and stop the prices being extortionate! The crime results fromthe black market prices of drugs. More education is needed in schools about the consequences of drug use. But at the end of the day,adults shuld be able to choose if they want to use or not, any criminal charges should only be against those with kids.

The drug problem is thanks to the law. There are harmless drugs which are illegal, and there are harmful drugs which are legal. If the government was consistent on drugs they might be more effective at combating them. And do addicts really need to go to jail? So they can sit in a cell and think about all the drugs they're gonna do the minute they get out?

This system isn't about rehabilitation. It's about money. Doctors, lawyers, judges, prisons, government officials. Everyone gets a piece.

The worst crime perpetrated by society upon it's citizens is to put the sick with the criminal. Criminals know the difference, sick people have genuine mitigation. The placement of these ill people inside the prison system is also unfair to the prison guards who have trained to deal with bad not mad people. What a sad state of affairs it is.
