I didnt know you could get pulled over for Blue LED's? it makes sense though, My Car is a White PT Criuser so I want Blue Lights, do you have any suggestions?

@M4775K311 you can be pulled over for whatever the retarded po po's want to pull you over for... the trick is to know your state laws and be smarter than the cop:-) If you want to avoid it all dont run with blue or red:-) Most importantly dont use alternating colors or patterns. :-)

@M4775K311 there is a law against underglow like blue because some people can mistake the blue light as a police car, so you have to turn them off on the road, turn them on at a social meeting when not driving on road

@landraider101 I kinda figured that out but if the lights are coming from underneath your car then people should be able to figure out that its not a cop since they're lights are above their cars :/

So where exactly does the power to the underglow lights hook up to? Does it hook up to you headlight fuse or somewhere else?

@xVxRayJohnathaNxVx Anywhere where there is a 12V power. I used a cigerette lighter power... you can also use an empty fuse slot in your car though. totally up to you.

i also live in NC and plan on installing LEDs on my mustang, what colors are illegal? isnt it blue red and orange? i heard orange is a new one since NC cops r starting to also use orange in their light bars

@bobbyesterly from what i have read... you can have any color you want... just be sure that the light bar can not be seen. Be sure its tucked up high inside you side skirts and most importantly can not be seen from the front or rear. They can not do patterns or flash either.

@bobbyesterly in alomst every state u cant have red or blue on "while" driving. but showin off to ur friends and a lot is fine. supposeldly due to enforcement and emergency cars usin certain colors your not allowed to have the same colors moving that could make u look like them. its suckssss

@bobbyesterly Do research... I used to have teh NC reg sited and in my car... if you ask a cop, they are going to just tell you nothing. You can have any color as long as they dont do patterns or if the lights can be seen from the front side or rear. tuck them up in your car well and hide the bulbs well.

@scyrp it is illegal to have blue red and white(resembles a police officer), but that is probably why you would have an fm transmitter so that you can turn them off

@saltwateraquaruim any color is legal in california as long as they are not flashing red or blue ones and you cannot have any of the lights showing at all or it will be illigal but if you do it properly its legal
