Aqui por essas bandas brasileiras Anne -Marie David seria classificada como 'brega' (brega é algo como 'de péssimo gosto', 'sem refinamento'). Para dizer a verdade, a música francesa em geral é 'canastrona', somente se destacam os 'não franceses' (Adamo é de raiz italiana, por exemplo). No Brasil, SanRemo é muito mais conhecido do que Eurovision, apesar de estar ultimamente desprestigiado.

For me, this is the best ESC winner of all times. I've never heard this powerful and touching song until a year ago or so. But since then, I really love it. And Anne-Marie David, outstanding voice and performance.
