actually...that's how we CHamorus spell it, b/c "fan toktok" is diff from "fanoktok"...if you spoke CHamoru, you'd understand what it means and that it's wrong to say "fan toktok"...the prefix "fan" pluralizes the term it precedes. when you put "fan" or "man" in front of a word that begins with the letter "t", combining them, you drop the "t"...like fan + tohge = "fanohge" as in "fanohge Chamoru, put i tano'-ta..." lao bei po'lu ha' guenao sa fanan hagu mas tumungo', no? ya guahu lache?
