The fact remains that Obama did end the war in Iraq, it took him longer than he had hoped, but the official war in Iraq is over. If it were up to me, the war in Afghanistan would also be over and we wouldn't be bombing Libya and Yemen. But that's my take.

We will never actually bring all our troops home from Iraq, or Afghanistan, it's just not going to happen. Just like we still have troops in Germany, and in Korea. Ending a war doesn't mean that we will bring every single asset home afterwards. But the war in Iraq is over.
