I have a question, i just recently got pokegen, and ive so far been unsuccessful in loading up pokemon from my Pearl rom on my emulator. Im using no$gba, and well my question is, can AR codes used on the rom screw up the rom data? i have used a couple codes including using the codes that make a vitamin become max and stuff, and a few others, so would those be affecting my rom data and unable for pokegen to read?
@TheMadRRConductor No from what I know AR shouldnt effect it at all cuz i used AR on a couple of old save files. You're probably just not loading the file correctly to the emulator. Which way are you doing it?
@AnarQyGaming ok hold on i completely now realized i screwed up my question. My no$gba reads my rom fine. the problem im having is trying to get pokegen to read it. Pokegen wont read my save file. Thats my problem, and ive been looking up guides on how to fix it so it can read the save, but nothings worked so far.
@TheMadRRConductor ohhh ok i think i understand. is there a pop up or something that shows up when you try to load the sav file? i think it may ne possible that your sav file is too big. i would recommend using pokesav in such a situation since when you finish editing you can save the file to a smaller size
Thanks for reply,Well what I meant is that like you do at sec 00:28,when I try to load the sav. to edit it on Pokegen,it pops up the message : *Invalid safe file*
@GIBNAZIO well a couple things couldve happened. if youve ever edited the sav file with a different program it might have been improperly saved. another thing ive seen people dude is try to edit the back up file which is (.sav.bak) instead of the regular save file which is just (.sav). the easiest way for me to know whats wrong is if you could possibly send me a copy of the file save so i can see it for myself
@GIBNAZIO Some R4 .sav are not compatible with Pokegen and that's why you get "invalid save file" how to resolve the problem ? buying another brand of R4 will resolve the problem, go and ask what type of R4 has the guy in the video.Thanks..
wait so can i take my ds game and load it on here and edit my pokemon!can i? IS THAT POSSIBLE I NEED TO KNOW
