Best thing is just to give up smoking , coffee and tea....mine went back to bright white in under a fortnight! Assisted in effect by the fact that your gums will also turn a healthier pink colour with the improved circulation . I'm still ugly by the way :)

@Moriah415 I think the problem with the whitening strips (regardless of the brand) is that the bleaching actually removes a small layer of the enamel (which can't be recovered). That's why some people have tooth ache after using them. It goes away (the pain) but I wouldn't use something that actually damages my enamel. If I am incorrect, someone please tell me why. Thanks!

I have always used baking soda but will try baking powder. The soda absolutely works. It works on sore bums and aching muscles too!!!!! But u have to keep it up for a few days switching between soda and toothpaste. Then after a week u should be fine to go back to toothpaste using soda once a weak. Cheers and good luck !!!! baking soda does NOT whiten teeth! Im one of those looking for different methods of naturally whitening teeth. Ive been using baking soda for awhile now. Till I realized that baking soda does NOT whiten the teeth, however it cleans the mouth real good. Especially in the early morning when you get up from sleep your tongue is the hardest part to clean. Tho I recommend add a slight bit of toothpaste with the soda as it might irritate your gums.

@chloeey Why are you using hydrogen peroxide? Don't use that, that's whats causing the inflammation. That's usually used for cuts and for cleaning wounds, don't brush your teeth with it. Use just the baking soda.
