  • R u from Alabama

  • I have one these knives I got it for 24 dollars from ctd. Nice review

  • CDNN Is having a sale on these knives I think around 22 dollars

  • I may pick one of these up for a camping trip later this year... It's definitely a good price, but I'd be concerned about the rusting that seems to be an issue with these guys. Although I could just as easily oil it, so I suppose the poing is moot.

  • @NickSparkss Rust?? Thats the least of your worries.. If you are looking for a porche of a knife your on the wrong Review. These knives are Plain, tough as nails get the job done without breaking and have seen combat all around the world.. My step Bro has one in currently in use in Helmand Provience, Afghanistan and loves it. 25.00 dollars can't beat the price. Check out the torture test video's it hang's with the best.

  • @hutningnola I'll be sure to check it out. I have a friend who took it on a week long backpacking trip and he said there was a pretty good buildup of rust on the cutting edge, but I'm not sure how well he maintains his blades.

If it's good enough for a soldier, I'm sure it'll be good enough for me. I'm definitely going to be picking one of these guys up, as you said, the price is amazing for what you get.

  • This is the story of a man who loves his gun and has misplaced affection for his lesser known knife.

  • ..you almost have to get it out one-handed because it´s on our old KAMPFANZUG 75 (BDU whatever..) it was strapped to your left shoulder so you just had to grab it..and stiffen your index finger to slide it between the lock and knive..tadaa! If its not on your shoulder but in your hand just slide your index finger between lock and knive and the sheath should fly away. I hope you understand what i want to tell you because my english is far from beeing perfect..

  • ..i wanna see you choping wood with it while having the upper edge sharpened. It´s not a full-tang design as i have seen on x-ray pics and no i have never seen somebody breaking this knive. It is however very, very (!) sensible to moisture and has to be oiled all the time if you want to avoid rust (you have to see mine, not nice). The black finshing will go off very soon and when "naked" rust will replace it if not taken care properly. And btw there are manny ways to open it one-handed..

  • Hi, nutn!

Because i served in the austrian army i had the "privilege" or curse to get one of these screwdrivers as we call them and i think in the whole army history this knive almost never has been used for cutting things but only for digging, opening windows, doors cans and boxes..and stuff and the fact that it gets handed out to millions of "kids" in the army brings me to the conclusion to not sharpen it comming out of stock. Your´s however is almost complete, cheap tac-dagger and..

  • 55 -_-

Dont get me wrong 55 is still good quality steel, just expected them to have higher.

  • @97AlexN um... 55 is not the steel type, its the hardnes... :P

  • @bluehoarse Blah blah, i know, wrong word.

    I meant hardness

  • Just picked up an 81 today at a gun show. Seems like a really solid build

  • kinda reminds me of a mora clipper

  • this is an awesome throwing knife

  • I held my breath watching his hand waving around with the sharp edge toward his hand. He should have the sharp edge AWAY from his hand.

  • It is good Glock can make an excellent "field knife".

  • Actually, the main purpose for tri-angular bayonets is the type of wound it makes.

  • @TheSonofgun666I think he's right about the shape. I mean, a round bayonet would still kill you.

  • @lardtaziumwadmaster No, no, no...

You see, a tri-angular bayonet DID have an edge, though it wasn't nearly as effective as a straight blade when it came to slashing. However, a tri-angular knife's stab wound is nearly impossible to repair due to it's shape. It was so deadly, it actually got out-lawed (that's why the cold steel delta dart has no edge and is polymer

  • @TheSonofgun666 It would seem you're both right.

    Google search "straightdobe triangular bayonette"

But, I still don't get why a triangular wound is harder than a round wound.

  • @lardtaziumwadmaster It might be harder because the round wound would be really clean. It's pure stabbing (so also less penetration) and those sharp edges make a huge difference. Also, the tri-angular shape would still be stronger.

  • Hey veri, what knife do you think nutn would recommend if i wanted a average priced survival/ defensive knife. thanks

  • i bought this knife because of this review

  • just wanted to say about when you talked about the bayonet back in the 1800s with triangler blade in battle your correct about being stronger, but y they made it that way was also back in that time it was harder for pple to stitch the wound up. So by that they could only get one straight stitch to keep infection out while leaving the third wound open. In case causing infection and bacteria making for the third wound or slash not heal leading to death alot of times

  • Bayonets over 10'' inches (250mm)

Classed as sword bayonet less than 10'' (250mm)

    classed as knife bayonet.

  • anbody notice how much glock fix blades looks like a m3 trench knife

  • typical Glock... utterly reliable ..... but poor to mediocre performance , just like their overrated pistols

  • @ruthlesszabusa, i kept it greased religiously its a shitty knife.

  • nutnfancy, I really appreciate that you try to put so much time in informing possible buyers. You should however get some facts straigt. You start talking about spring steel not being the best in edge holding, obviously you're talking about 9260 spring steel, which, due to it's low carbon content isn't good in edge holding. The glock however is 1092 steel, with very high carbon content.

  • great review - but one thing. you do not need two hands to get the knife out of the sheath. it is pretty easy to pull the clip with your thumb or your forefinger and to draw the knive - particularly if you wear it on your shoulder upside down.

  • You sold me this knife !! thanks agian !!

  • what is a nutfancy

  • @MultiAngryRussian it means "Mall Ninja" in Utah ;)

  • ive had two off these knives and both of them rust very very easily

  • @TylerWeastable Take.....wait for it.....care of it.

  • Is the sheath MOLLE compatible?? Sorry in advance if you mentioned it in the video. I just don't have time to watch it now. Thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • I bought and carried mine during my service in Germany and Kuwait in the early 90s. Great knife not a lot of money. I have the model 81 sawback and it works well. The knife is very easily unclipped using a thumb and forefinger. the sheath is useable either side important cause Im left handed. Glock made knives before they made guns..

  • Would a Spyderco Sharpmaker be a poor choice to start sharpening this out of the box? Mine is dull out of the box, as you mentioned.

  • @SputnikJunior They are so thick and the relief edge is so steep that I don't think that will do the trick.I put mine on my lansky system and it did pretty much nothing.

You will have to put it on a belt or something unfortunately.

  • @Solareffects Cheaperthandirt(dot)com they have the knives but they dont have the sand version right now.

  • @Solareffects I bought mine in a Gunshop in Vienna vor 30 bucks. Maybe this would be also a good place to look for you; if there are any shops of this kind in your area of course. Oh and on a sidenote, if you do get one, you really have to regrind the knive.

    by

  • Chuck Norris shaves with Glock knives.

  • @KneeOfGold good one joke

thats one you have made up?

  • I saw a picture of somebody who had hacked open the handle, and it is not a full tang knife. it goes down about 2-3 inches with some holes for the polymer to fill. I currently own one, and i have not been disappointed so far. it is very light, and i don't think that the short tang would have any effect on the functionality at all, nor would it "pop out" when you use it.

  • Just bought one today and I must say for 27 dollars I am impressed for the price. It is a solid solid knife that I believe will last a long time.

  • Would I be better off with a KABAR knife or one of these gock Knives?

  • @mikef262 Totally different knives, the Kabar is a combat knife the Glocks are field knives

  • nutn, why doesn't this knife make it into any of your expeditions ?

Is it just too heavy ?

  • Hi nutn,

great to see a video from one of my favorite reviewers on one of my favorite knives!!

But I have to tell you, that it is possible to draw it one handed. For to learn how you can watch my two vids about it, in them I also show how the handle looks under the X-Ray, so you can see how for the tang reaches into the handle.

    best regards,

    TheCrazyCarpenter91

  • NutnFancy where do you get your blades profiled??? It looks wicked.

  • Hey dude, i bought a second hand glock 78 but its totally dull, im not sure what angle of sharpening i should keep (what was it originally, because its hard to see now). Could you give me some advice on sharpening this knife?

Thanx a lot, greeting from Poland!

  • Can you get the sheath to fit on MOLLE with the belt clip?

    Thanks guys =)

  • @DevilWearsMulticam

    yes, fits perfect

  • there were sword bayonetts in the civil war

  • hey nutnfancy, ive been going out practicing my bushcraft skills and i think i need a more serious knife, i really cant spend more than $50, which knife would be a choice for me?

  • @sonofsigns my vote would be fore the Ontario SP10 marine raider bowie.. nutn has a review on it, i own one. its a beast.

  • @slackingFox the only problem I have with the SP10 is the handle, it seems a bit square-ish to me, and the flip at the bottom is to small and oddly shaped. I am comparing it the the Ka-Bar Kukri, Large Heavy Bowie, and cutlass handles, which I prefer for their roundness and large, full flip at the bottom. The SP10 is a great knife, and wonderful chopper though! I was able to chop through, 11 in. thick logs with ease! Which again brings me to the handle, which kind-of hurt my hand afterwards.

  • @TheEpochofWar I have fairly large hands, so the squareness doesn't particularly bother me. The little flip at the end was at first pretty rough on my pinky finger however, but i gave is some wrapping in tape (the handle flip, not my pinky ;) and its great. Im pretty convinced its one of the best for the money.

  • @slackingFox Yea, one of the best. I don't actually own one, but two of my friends do. The factory second is a good user. Its like only 32 bucks! thats nice.

  • @sonofsigns Do you want a large fixed blade? or something more small and managable? You could always check out factory seconds. They make great worker knives! especially for the price. Factory second means they may have been stamped wrong or something else that doesn't damage the working quality of the knife, though not for collecting they sure are reliable! (the ones I have seen) On Chestnut Ridge knife shop there is a Ontario SP10 (FS) for $32! thats a great deal. I think there is $7 shipping.

  • @TheEpochofWar , yeah a large fixed blade, something specifically good for batoning wood, i have a sog field pup and its great but not really big enough to properly baton wood and im hesitant as far as just picking up any old knife and im limited on funding. thanx for the suggestions ill check em out

  • @sonofsigns I have a Ka-Bar Becker BK9, and I freaking love it! If you can get one in your price range, you should.

  • @TheEpochofWar What are you talking about? Beckers suck! Haha. Just kidding. Beckers are awesome. I just think you're an idiot. Yes, I'm trolling.

  • @TheEpochofWar is there a particular site for factory seconds cuz i didnt come across one?

  • Comment removed

  • @sonofsigns It won't let me post...

  • @TheEpochofWar Chestnut Ridge Knife Shop has FS in the SP10 and the SP1, they are both great knives in my opinion. Really cheap too! you should get them soon, because I hear they are discontinuing them. This may not be true but they have already come out with the Gen II series. again, I love that site. Cold steel also has their own factory seconds on their site, but I don't think they have any cool knives on right now, this is of course in my opinion.

  • @TheEpochofWar , thanx

  • @sonofsigns Anytime.

  • @sonofsigns Ok, well for some stupid reason it wouldn't let me post my long message.. There wasn't too many characters or anything. It said-'error, try again' over and over haha. so I had to reply to myself and it worked. just look at it haha.

  • I actually like this knife> I got a few at a local shop for 20 bucks a peice.. there now my beater knifes XD Havent managed to break any of em yet either.

  • I'll stick with my K-Bars.

  • can you make a review for the kel tec folding knife or folding bayonet

  • Thor would carry this knife.

  • @VilleVonFastFingers thor doesnt carry knives. he carries hammers.

  • @lukphonp I know, I was using the an allusion to Thor to express how much I think this knife kicks ass. And I'm not sure if Thor carries multiple hammers. I do know that he carried the Mjöllnir. I wear a necklace with a Celtic like designed pendant of the Mjöllnir. It was simply an allusion... but nice try.

  • How much is it? I know you must have said it at some point in the video, but I can't find it and I don't have the time to watch the whole video in it's entirety. Thanks

  • @dcvids123

30 for the straight edge(which is the more durable knife) and 35 for the serrated model. But I've seen them for 20 on websites based in the states.

  • @dcvids123 But the truth is you should pay more for the 78. Serrations weaken the blade, and big ones like these can even affect the balance, which might not be a big deal when you are just holding the knife, but these knives seem to be made for throwing.

  • i also have a glock knife it is awesome it comes razor sharp!

  • lets say I'm preparing a log for processing ?? not a good chopper ?? well it's a combat boot knife not a machete dork

  • @rentatrip1 lol ok, way to over react. This vid is old, almost 3 years old. His more current videos are more understanding.

  • will nutnfancy sell some knives?? i know he has more than he could use.

  • i envy the peoples whos names are in your will.

  • Do you know which if any army uses this knife?

  • do you know which if any army uses this knife?

  • Got nothing on the S&W CKSUR1. Best $20 knife you can buy.

  • gay nife

  • So, should I get the 78 or the 81? I don't like serrated or combo blades, but this one has a full plain edge, and serrations on the spine, and since it's not a batoning knife, it can't hurt, right? Looking for advice from both Nutn and from other viewers.

  • @Supermassively 78 if u dont like combo edge bro, the saw back on the 81 is more a ripping cut when stabbing with, rather than cut wood with, i perfer the 78 of the 2 the saw back is more looks than anything else. hope this helps

  • @Supermassively btw i can totaly back up Nutn' on saying the glock is not sharp outa the box, but a great knife once you get an edge put on it

  • @Supermassively get a 78 and an 81 best of both worlds they're only 35$ each.

  • My glock knife has developed a small gap between the handle and the crossgaurd.

    is this normal?

i noticed it a bit on yours but i don't know if it's from usage

  • Was just wondering why I can't find this review in any of your playlists?

  • veri, why does nutn disable the ratings, he's one of my favorite reviewers and most of us would give him thumbs up

  • @eastofakron1 Its my laziness. There was an organized effort from a few other gun channels to downrate Nutn's vids (this was a long while ago, back when there was 1-5 star ratings), and we disabled ratings. I keep saying that I'm going to re-enable the ratings, but its like 500 vids..ugh. =/ -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy bayonets were also triangular because a triangular wound is harder to stitch up (an equalateral triangular wounds that is as opposed to an isosceles trangular wound wich has two longer sides wich can be brought together) lol sorry to be a dink but I'm a bit of a war history junkie.

  • @nutnfancy I don't understand how Nutnfancy could have any haters. He's an American hero (though I'm sure he'd never call himself that), a supporter of our Constitutional rights, a bold adventurer, and an all-around badass.

I think they're just jealous that he's accomplished so much. Then again, I am too, but I don't sit on YouTube being a Nutn-hater. :-\

    My new favorite channel. :)

  • @Supermassively Tall Poppy Syndrome bro, very sad but true.

  • i come from austria great review nutnfancy!!! glock make good, light weight knives!!!

  • its a good compliment to a decent machete

  • its a good compliment with a decent machete

  • Hi, I'm fairly new to knives (at least in the maintenance department) and I have a couple of questins and i would be thankful if you could help me.

Anyway I acquired a Glock 81 and the finish on the edge realy isn't good so I want to sharpen it, i've been trying to find just how, but didn't have luck. Did you sharpen it by hand or on a machine of any kind, and how?

My second question is what to use for oilng the knife so it doesn't rust? Can i use gun oil or are there special knife oils.

  • Dude that looks like kabar and does the survival knife perform well in the wilderness like cutting tree branchings

  • Watched this video last night but forgot to comment... I was just too tired. :P

I have one of these knives and it has it's limitations, but I use it as a beater knife for the most part, and it does what I need it to do. Good all around knife.

    Thanks for the video.

  • would u recomend the survival knife for a survival situation? would you carry it in a survival situation. i trust ur opinion. haha.

  • @TheSurvivorjunkie Its better than most, but there are a few i would rather have.

  • well. lemme ask you something. would it be a type of knife that u would carry into a survival situation. ? please get back to me.

  • "in fact it sucks for chopping"

shounds like a good survival knife...

  • @jd366 Actually the sawback one would be alright, cause anything i can chop i would rather saw.

  • Personally, I can pull out mine with one hand from the sheath

  • @szinyovszky yeah same here i put my pointer finger on the crossgaurd and pull the clip with my thumb

  • @szinyovszky agreed... put your index finger in front of the finger guard on the handle, depress the latch with thumb. lift knife with index finger past the latch and obtain the proper grip. i usually just "pop" mine free, let it rest in the sheath above the latch... the get proper grip. its not the most ideal design for a fighting knife, but then again, its not necessarily designed as a "fighting knife".

  • i asked on one of your other vids if you had one for a glock knife before i found this. do you have a vid of the knife in use? i need to just get mine out and use it to see how it works for me, but i'm still learning "knives" so i'm asking a lot of questions. but in your opinion? this would be ok for a lot of tasks? but maybe not for building a fire from scratch? (not good at the chopping that would be needed) so should i look into a kabar? or should i just add a small hatchet to my kit?

  • You can draw the knife with a single hand. Using finger snapping like motion to release the knife from the sheath. Index under level part of guard and thumb on top of release. Now snap--it pops up

  • @pangolin9 thats what i do

  • The edge retention of that knife is not really that great, it's only a Rockwell of 55, you'd be better off spending a bit more for a SOG made from VG-10 for a survival/field knife. VG-10 steel is HIGHLY corrosion resistant, yet still has a Rockwell of around 59-60 which retains an edge much better than the knife you have there.

Honestly steel is everything. Good carbon steel > all but vg-10 is about the best you can get. no one makes a carbon steel knife anymore. AUS-8 is utter crap.

  • @archmnementh my coldsteel spartan is aus-8 and its holding a great edge, still razor sharp

  • @THEHUNTER096 yeah i like cold steel and all but there knives are very expensive.

My glock gives me all i could ask for in a sturdy knife i could use for utility and self defence. I'm not afraid to throw it considering its such a cheap knife and its full tang so it won't break

    that is all

  • @crazygunner12345 I have many of these knives and like them a lot, but they are not a full tang. Go to knifetests. com page 2 and they fully destroy a knife then cut the handle off.

  • @RHammer9 yeah i see but thats the survival model the field model is different

  • @crazygunner12345 I am sure they are not full tang knives, but we can agree to disagree. Either way the handles are solid and will not come apart with anything short of a fire. These are great affordable knives.

  • If you can afford it do you think the KA-BAR USMC would be a better choice then this?

  • have you got hands like jaws from the bond movies because that knife looks tiny !

  • @sweetypie000 You're correct, sweety. He has huge hands. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy Wait, which one is nutnfancy? Was it the guy who demonstrated the Gerber axe? Because the guy talking in the videos has a different voice from that guy. I thought it was because of the proximity to the microphone and the difference between indoor/outdoor recording, but now you're saying "he" instead of "I".

In your profile, it says you want to avoid death threats. Why would anyone threaten you? You don't talk about politics or religion, or even Hollywood fashion...

  • @NoisemakerArrow its the same guy in both vids except veri is the one who comments and i think she's his sister or something like that

  • I've got the model 81 for 20 some odd years for all my backpacking here in idaho and it's held its edge even after using it for digging a fire pit

  • You sound like you're drunk, great review though

  • the glock is a great pistol .... more like a crap grenade

  • hey you should check out my vids bye the way sweet vid i thank im going to get survival knife 81. i love saw backs

  • i have this and i totally agree...

  • NUT FANCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hey i have one question about the knife. How do you take off the little part on the back of the handle? It has two little holes and ive tried to put a little pin in one of the holes hoping that i could pry it open but i was afraid of breaking ruining the knife.

  • Can this sucker baton?

  • @wormer104 yes its can ive done it manyy times with no problems they(the glock knives) love it

  • The "spring steel" they use is actually an A2, AUS8A alloy. They literally melt down imperfect or broken Glock parts to make these knives

  • Picked one up in OD green the other day in Tennessee on my way back to Illinios. Got mine for $31.00 + tax. Its lighter than my K-Bar. Really like the retention device on the holster. Needs a good sharpening though. Can't wait to take it camping and see what it can do. Thanks Nutnfancy for the great vids you put out!! Keep it up!!

  • I used to own a model 81 but I gave it away. It's a combat knife with very limited utility capabilities. Too light for chopping, too thick for fine cutting, the saw is just in the way. The sheath is great for upside-down carry but the blade rattles in it. You can stuff cotton balls in it if you don't worry that it will soak water. The black coating gets scratched off very quickly and the blade is high carbon so it will rust. It's not really good for anything besides killing.

  • I just bought one of these knifes yesterday. I've never seen one before yesterday and I knew when I saw it that I had to have it. It's the model 81 in OD green. Haven't got to really use it yet. Hope to get a better edge on it though. Overall though a great feeling knife for $31.00. Thanks for the video!

  • Where did you get this?

  • @theguitarsmasher i've seen these at many gun stores and sporting good stores

they retail $27 +- $3 i love mine it's quick to sharpen and it holds an edge fairly well

  • FYI the Danish Troops we encountered in Afghanistan all carried this Knife. I was thankfully able to trade for one, and it has held up to some amazing abuse.

  • The Glock is of the same design of the SLR (FN-FAL) bayonet only a bit lighter, both are good knives & yes I do own a 78, as I went for the quality as well as strength; & as you say...a good all-rounder!

I'd still love to get a 1910 .303 Tiger pattern bayonet, hard as hell to get them nowadays here in Oz....by the way my knife cost me $99 but they do go for as little as $65 online but whatcha going to do when you want it now?! I've yet to put mine into use but I know that it will do the job!

  • I just ordered two second hand 78 models. should be arriving next week! Thanks for the great review!

  • how does it compare to a KABAR combat/fighting knife

  • @soldier14E honestly in my opinion they dont they are more field knives like nutnfancy stated they are more for either stabbing or tasks like cutting a tree for shelters or batoning etc. if you want a fightingor combat knife grab a kabar if you want a more workhorse knife that likes to take a beating go with the glock

    (i currently own 4 2x78 and 2x 81 and love them to death )

  • Comment removed

  • I purchased a Glock 81 several months ago. I love it. Blade definiately locks TIGHT in the sheath.

  • It's not just inspired by the bayonet design, it is a bayonet! The plug on the pommel comes off to reveal the mounting socket

  • pick one knife under 60$ what is it.

  • You only buy Glock when you can't afford quality.

Colt Quality. Glocks is cheap cause they ain't steel, and the germans don't got steel as a natural resoruce.

Glocks are great pistols, i wouldn't want one, nor thier blades.

  • @jfkdjfd

    Let's get some things straight:

    1. Glock is an austrian company

    2. Steel isn't a resource, it's an alloy

    3. Germany is rank 7 of the world's steel producers

  • you reply to me about, that?

  • @jfkdjfd

    why not? Nothing personal.

  • @medicaster -- alloys are commodities and many such are of strategical value, resources per si. You should have a look on what happened to alloy productions during WWII to realize this. Best from Spain.

  • @clustergarde That all may be, but the person I was referring to was talking about 'natural resources' which steel isn't. Furthermore Glock Pistols are in service since the 1980s, so looking at WWII productions isn't helpful.

  • @medicaster Germany still has the best steel in the world. always has.

  • @jfkdjfd ignorant. glock would kick colt's ass any day, any time.

  • @cmoremotion then why has Colt been the offical United States Side Arm for nearly 70 years. from 1911-13 to aboutthe late 1970's. If Glock is so great, then why have we not adopted it? Why, beacuse it is not Steel. Glocks are nice. Colt's are quality.

  • @jfkdjfd first of all, Glock was introduced to the market in 1981 or so and calt was already in service, the 1911 is a great design but Colt is not the same it used to be, right now it's just name............I work at a gun store and see them come back all the time because they jam.....do you want a good 1911? then go Kimber, les bear, wilson, those are quality.

With regards to why Glock hasn't been adopted by our military, they require that their side arm has a manual safety, Glock said NO!!

  • can't disagree with you about Glock. it depends on the Colt you buy. But since you work ar a Gunstore and i hope it's not a Dunham's or Dicks. Cabela's or Gander Mountain would suffice. You do know more than i, since i just have a few years of experience about 5 or 6. God Bless America.

  • @jfkdjfd god bless your mum.

  • @jfkdjfd The colt has been the official sidearm because at the onset of WWI and WWII, the military pretty much had to be built up from scratch - there were massive orders on designs that had been tried and tested, to the extent that, in WWII, they procured 1.9 million pistols (this information has been proudly ripped off from stephi's blog post on 'American Semi-automatic pistols' by Rob )

  • @jfkdjfd wait.. you say glock "is" cheap but then you say they are great pistols

  • @CubanRevival yes is do. i have a cheap .22 for squirrel hunting. it's very nice, lightweight, accurate, easy to work with, broken in. all for $230.00 My friend has a Ruger 10-22, French Walnut stock, just beautiful, absolutley gorgeous. It's quite new, he got it in Novermber of last year for $350.00. The trigger is absolutley horrendus. It takes forever to squeeze it, it is so long. Long meaning it takes lots of time. It has a Plastic trigger and plastic mechanisms, which is bad i a weapon.

  • I have that knife in black, they hold an edge fair, and is easy to sharpen once it does get dull, and in my opinion a fair fighting knife, not much for general servival. In all honesty for your hard earned money Id say go with the K-BAR fighting knife, its a better knife all away round.

  • @pidner I forgot to mention also the scales or grip in this case is slick as owl droppings I took 100 grit SP to mine, the reason its not a really great Knife is because its a bayonet and made for the end of a barrel.

  • Does enyone know where to buy one of these?

  • Hi,

I have to tall you that it's easy to draw your knife with one hand:

with your thumb you push the lock aside and with yourindex finger you pull it up by the handgard. So it's unlocked and you can draw it.

    Thx for the nice video.
