Mary Wilson's new hit is fabulous! I love the rhythm. She continues to keep the legacy of the Supremes alive as well as a wonderful SOLO career of her own. I have attended several of her concerts. Each one was 'SOLD OUT' and her fan base in enormous and global! In spite of Motown's politics in the '60's, that the general public had no idea about, Mary Wilson has emerged as a tremendous solo artist and author of several best-selling, tell-all books about the legendary Supremes. I never fully understood this "more commercial" thing. Gladys Knight, Gladys Horton voices are quite similar to Mary's and they had big hits. Eddie Holland wanted Mary on lead on Where Did Our Love Go.

Mary Wilson's voice is the complete opposite of Diana Ross'. Ross does have a commercial voice. Can't begrudge Berry for choosing her to lead up the Supremes. Mary's smoky alto is sexy and charming in its own way though/

Still it would've been great to hear more of Mary's smoky, seductive alto and Florence's powerful, soulful soprano at least on LP tracks and live recordings if not on singles.
