they have about a similar performance, but if ur a good diver u can beat G35, coz M45 is harder to drive and get the best numbers out of it. add that 4.5 is out of date, coz it's since 2002, and the 3.5 of G35 is with the new nissan techs, and the 5L v8 gonna replace that one. add also that M45 is heavier by 200+kg, redline at 6700rpm against 7500rpm in the G35. but M45 needs a good driver for the best results and a harsh road *__^. thanx KHD
I dont know if the fx50 competes with the bmw x6. If it does then it better upgrade already. The bmw X6 is pushing a twin turbo v8 4.4 if you opt for the v8.

yea that fx50 is gonna whoop i believe the SRT-8 jeep n the SS trialblaz! even tho the srt8 jeep has 425 BUT!!! american cars loses bout 10 to 20% of horsepower from that engine to the wheels!!! so the 390 from the FX50 is rated from the wheels! how i kno this is because i work for nissan manufactor plant here! to keep the m45 from spinning i usually hold the rpms at a 1000 sounds like it's nothing but it will not spin and turn off your VDC and i also use the Manual mode !
390hp is still at least, it might be more. some guy i know worked directly with the FX50 in Dubai and u can search for the spy pics. he said it'll be 400+ hp, like 405-410hp. and u can see the Redline has been raised from 6700rpm to 6900. plus 7-speed trans. expect 0-60 in less than 5 sec + 1/4 in less than 13.5 sec, hopefully. then why should ppl buy a plastic jeep while a luxurios FX50 is Available. the jeep SRT8 is expensive out here and priced at $55k with cheap nav! thanx, youngblak1 *__^

I think u didn't hear about FX50 2009 which packed with 390+ hp. It has the new engine, the new M and Q will have the same engine with more hp, along with 4 cams and 7-speeds auto-trans. i think 2 get the best start and no spinning
first install a bridgstone ADRENALIN tyres and lower the pressure of the rear tyres by 2-3PSI than the standered PSI rate.
it will starts fast then before. i tryed this trick with my friends g35
and it helped us by nearly 0.7 in 0-180km. i hope that i helped u becouse my heart beats like a VQ engines when it idles>>
