Best live band I've ever seen. And in my opinion they're the best band ever. Whatever they do, it's incredible in a lot of ways. Prefer their guitar based songs, but it's all good.
not only are they (in my opinion) THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD....they're talented...nice...and hillarious....i was crying from laughing so much when i watched this....and Jon Ross is really funny as well...British people are so charming...and funny....love it!
i love to see thouse big black boxs they put the drums in that have radiohead tag on them in white. omg that gets me going. i would love to set up for them.
my drunkin black aSs, i dont know that seems to be what everyone says anyway i have too many daydreams to count thats just one of a million. but radiohead and thom york have a very special place in my heart for fuck sake i have a radiohead tat on my leg of the kid a bear. pretty tacky.
Oh that British humor...love it. Don't remember when I've laughed this hard. Love Radiohead. Can you vision Marilyn Manson, Charrlotte Church, and Simon Cowell all in the same room. I swear I thought he was joking at first. Wish we had this over here in the states. Could use a few good laughs. There There now.
I love watching this interview. So often, it seems almost as if interviewers have set out specifically to see who can ask the most questions that they know full well they shouldn't be asking(either because they're things that never get answered or they're things that have been answered in a billion other interviews). Things get taken so seriously by the person orchestrating the thing that you rarely get to see Thom's silly sense of humor. He really can be a clown, and he's all the better for it.
I find it amazing that they (radiohead) can pull their songs off sooo welll live. Usually with bands there are slight differences but everything in there there is beyond what the album could offer in power and energy.
Yeah, Radiohead is an amazing live band as well as a phenomenal studio band. I often find myself thinking that I actually prefer their live performances over their studio counterparts because of the energy the band exudes on stage. That's not to say that the studio cuts lack anything, because they don't, they're brilliant in their own way.
OMG, i just happened to be looking for fake plastic trees and found this!! i've seen the interview part from this show like a dozen times but none of the performances. this is awesome!

Thom Yorke is my second favorite musician ever. Second only to John Lennon who is my idol.

How is Thom getting that sound at the beginning?

Feedback. Just crank up the volume/distortion and face the amp with your guitar.

Yeah, but I was just wondering if it was just simple straight-up feedback.

I love them but I can't help it: this performance of There There reminds me of the Blue Man Group.
