I have never been in combat but I have had friends and family that have fought in Somalia,Iraq both wars and in Afghanistan. They look at these games as a joke, hell they play them to relieve stress. Because it is easy. Also in real life you can not respawn. You are dead. I like Chris Ryan great narrator and host.

only criticism of this is why wasnt chris's kit waterproofed already? If you're on an escape and evasion (in my opinion) your kit should be squared away into canoe/dry bags from the minute you get out of your scratcher so that if you have to cross a water obstacle you're always ready and your gear is buoyant. Rather than getting all your admin out on the riverbank and doing it then. This goes for comms too. My radio would be in the top flap of my bergan in a dry bag only coming out to use.

It seem that the filming crew is still filming Ryan from behind unless he carry a boom up his ass and from the other side of the river and from other location as well, wgich lead us to "Stage and made for Tv".

the programme wasnt meant to be a US vs UK thing at all. all NATO special forces train and constantly teach each other new teqniques, thats why NATO are badass. the programme was just showing how a special forces trooper would improvise, addapt and overcome in this kind of scenario. Chris Ryan travels the world and gives lectures to all NATO special forces because he's always coming up with new methods.

@Glaswegianmark Agreed we are not against each other only training. Just like shooting and I am talking about a real gun not a PS3 game or airsoft but one that fires real bullets is a skill that needs to be done at least several times a year to quailify.
