This is the same plot was created by an Israeli director Boaz Davidson who created this film also

After Valley Girl, this is probably my favorite 80s teen film, partly because the ending is such a punch in the stomach. Great soundtrack too.

the trailer and the actual movie are totally different. i always wonderd if this was done on purpose or not (just going with sex angel to pack the theaters.) I was surprised when I first saw the movieback in the 80s.
