I love the Corvette seats. I get tired of commentator always talking about how soft the seats are. They're great, not everyone wants to sit on cement seats all day. We live and drive in the real world.
Plate on the back but not the front - is that a State or City thing over your side? Here in UK we have to plate the front too which not good on this - nor Alfas.

The Vette had vibrations all over and the communication was not there unlike the 944. The 944 felt like it was hand made were the Vette felt like a kit car. The 944 felt like a drivers car were the Vette felt clumsy and unbalanced. The Vette has a fiberglass body "big deal".The Vette did have that big motor, but to many other shortcoming's make the Vette not that appealing.

I own a 3LT Cyber gray vette like the one in the video as well, i've had it a year now and I still love it, even better than my 07' and my fathers Z06. with just an intake, it has now dynoed at 407 hp at the wheel!
Have had a new 2009 for 5 weeks now and got a good deal from the dealer - 3800 off sticker. After 1270 miles it has no rattles or squeaks and I love the performance, This car is my everyday driver and I couldn't be happier with it!

@cuzimill786 That is not fast enough. It is well short on the 1/4. If we arew using best times, the base has been 11.70s, but most run 12.20s. That was also at 117-119 mph. That was pre-2010 which now has launch control.
I have owned 6 vettes 78,96,99,07,08, and 08 zo6 love them all the 08 m6 base model ran a 12.28 at 119mph bone stock and cost $42000 and got 31mpg at 80mph my 07 a6 1lt cost $40000 I put 70000 miles on it sold it for $34000 my 96 bought it with 74000 miles on it sold it to a friend now it has 165000 miles on it
with only a new battery or two corvettes

LOL @ dre5491. Reliable my ass. the new Vette's have the worst electrical gremlins out of any Vette to date. From charging systems, ignitions, gauge clusters to the stupid electric exterior door handles. It's not the I like one car or another. My issue is when are people gonna realise no motter what it is it's going to have issues at some point.
I guess I'm lucky then... My 2007 has 49,000 miles without one single issue. Also, I've been modded for over 20k miles too. My Uncle has a 2005 C6 with over 90k miles without any problems either... He's an outside salesman & drives it cross country. I would have thought his 05' being the first year & his current mileage would be loaded with problems but nope. We both race our vette's too, so it's not like we baby them. Maybe other's haven't been so lucky but, we couldn't be happier :)

Interesting that the heavier Mustang with a striaght rear axle is
quicker through the cones. I always felt the handling on the car
was weak.

I bought an 08 with the auto, the trans was a bit of a disapointment for me but the ls3 wasn't a disapointment at all.
So I fixed that and got an 10GS vert with the standard now I am happy

Have had a new 2009 for 5 weeks now and got a good deal from the dealer - 3800 off sticker. After 1270 miles it has no rattles or squeaks and I love the performance, This car is my everyday driver and I couldn't be happier with it!

My uncle has an 02' Z06 and it still doesn't have any rattles to this day. Once the rails were hydroformed the rattles were no more :)
The C6 was improved very little in that area b/c it didn't need it. I love my C6... Not one squeak or rattle here either.

Slalom speed is irrelevant, Mustang GT .5mph faster, put them both on a race track, then we'll see which one is faster. i would so buy on of these cars if only i had the means :D i'm german and we have a lot of great sports cars but it wouldn't take me long to decide which car to get if likei said i had the means to buy one, the overall package that vettes deliver for their price is simply amazing and unheard of among any competitor in this type of class.

not exactly. the e92 m3 coupe has got 4.1 0-60 and 12.7 in the 1/4.

@cuzimill786 That is not fast enough. It is well short on the 1/4. If we arew using best times, the base has been 11.70s, but most run 12.20s. That was also at 117-119 mph. That was pre-2010 which now has launch control.

I have owned 6 vettes 78,96,99,07,08, and 08 zo6 love them all the 08 m6 base model ran a 12.28 at 119mph bone stock and cost $42000 and got 31mpg at 80mph my 07 a6 1lt cost $40000 I put 70000 miles on it sold it for $34000 my 96 bought it with 74000 miles on it sold it to a friend now it has 165000 miles on it
with only a new battery or two corvettes

LOL @ dre5491. Reliable my ass. the new Vette's have the worst electrical gremlins out of any Vette to date. From charging systems, ignitions, gauge clusters to the stupid electric exterior door handles. It's not the I like one car or another. My issue is when are people gonna realise no motter what it is it's going to have issues at some point.

I guess I'm lucky then... My 2007 has 49,000 miles without one single issue. Also, I've been modded for over 20k miles too. My Uncle has a 2005 C6 with over 90k miles without any problems either... He's an outside salesman & drives it cross country. I would have thought his 05' being the first year & his current mileage would be loaded with problems but nope. We both race our vette's too, so it's not like we baby them. Maybe other's haven't been so lucky but, we couldn't be happier :)

the 370Z IN PERSON is a great car. I was not sure of the looks till I saw one at the car show and loved it. see one in person then bitch if you want but i doubt you will still want to...unless of couse you are a domestic fanboy
